General
Change Advisory Board (CAB) meeting is a decision meeting with the aim of controlling changes
with conscious decisions and clear responsibility.

Preparations
 Go through the current change tickets and choose which ones to be discussed at
CAB
o Decision for implementation
o Decision for handover
o Decisions on PIR
 All issues to be discussed must be fully documented
 Send out notices to all meeting participants no later than 3 working days before the
meeting
 Send the necessary documentation
 Prepare and compile statistics to be reported at the meeting
 Review and prepare the completed PIR

Permanent Member on the CAB


The following roles must always be called to the CAB
 IT Operations Manager
 Coordinator
 Release Manager

Not Permanent Members on the CAB


The following roles will be called to the CAB when a change handled in the meeting impact their
responsibility
 Ticket owner
 Affected Service owner
 Affected Delivery Manager
 Other affected Service Owners
 If needed
o Specialists to explain consequences
o Project Managers

Changes to be handled Review of unsuccessful changes and decisions to implement the PIR

Report on performed Reporting of completed PIR, underlying causes and what improvements
PIR implemented.

After the meeting


 Compile and distribute protocols
 Change the status and document cases dealt
 Contact the project managers and decide the next checkpoint
 When needed invite to PIR meeting
