Liquid limit = y = -0,1169x + 25,332

If x=N=25 = -0.1169(25)+25.332

= 22.41%

Plastic limit = Average of the three-moisture content

= (42.9+35.7+9.5)/3

= 29.4%

Plastic Index, PI

PI = LL – PL

=22.41%- 29.4%

=-6.99%

Since plastic index cannot be negative, we ignore the negative value and
assume soil is non plastic.
