Aladdin and The Magic Lamp

Good morning, everyone.

The most honourable judges, respected all teachers, viewers, and all audiences
here. Let me introduce myself. My name is Charlie Claudia Putri. I am from
Islamic senior high school of Qudsiyyah Putri Kudus.
Well, on this special occasion, I would like to tell you an amazing story. The
title is Aladdin and The Magic Lamp. The story of Aladdin is the most famous
story from the Arabian Nights collection of stories, also known as the One
Thousand and One Nights. Have you ever heard this story before? Ok.. let me
tell you and please listen to me carefully.
Far away in the Arabian desert, Princess Jasmine lived with her father,
Sultan Agrabah. The Sultan declared that Jasmine must marry a prince soon, but
Jasmine wanted to marry for love, not just to please her father!
“My beloved daughter Jasmine, please marry a prince soon,” said the Sultan.
“I don’t want to, Father! I want to marry the man whom I love,” Jasmine
replied.
While, in a nearby village lived a young man named Aladdin. Aladdin lives with
his mother. Aladdin was poor but had big dreams.
“One day... We will live in a palace!” said Aladin
In the Agrabah kingdom, Jasmine was being forced to marry a prince, so she
disguised herself as a peasant and left her home. Feeling hungry, she stole an
apple.
“You’d better be able to pay for that, no one steals from my cart”
“Pay? I’m sorry sir, I don’t have any money”
“Thief! Thief! Guard, catch this woman thief!” A guard caught Jasmine, but
Aladdin came to protect her.
“Please don’t arrest her; she is my sister, she’s a little crazy look she thinks the
apple is the sultan.”
“oh wise sultan, how may I serve you?”
Aladdin took Jasmine to his home.
“ I want to thank you for stopping that man. My father is forcing me to marry a
prince. I ran away, and I won’t go back,” Jasmine said.
Suddenly, palace guards burst into Aladdin’s home and arrested him! Jasmine
revealed her true identity as the princess and demanded Aladdin’s release. To
her surprise, the guards refused and took Aladdin away.
While locked up in the palace dungeon, Aladdin met an old man. The met an old
man took Aladdin and Abu to the Cave of Wonders, instructing Aladdin to
retrieve a magical lamp hidden within. Aladdin and Abu discovered the lamp
and a magical carpet.
“ Hurry up, give me the lamp”
“ NO. I need to get out first”
“ If you don’t do as I say, I will leave you in there”
The old man got very angry and trapped Aladin there. Aladin didn’t know
what to do in the dark, so he took the lamp and rubbed it. At that moment, green
smoke came out and a genie appeared. Frightened, Aladin hid right away.
“Don’t be afraid sir, I am the genie of the lamp. I will do you a Favor. I will
grant you three wishes. What is your first wish?”
“For my first wish, I want to be a prince,” Aladdin said.
“That’s very easy, sir!” replied the genie.
Disguised as a wealthy prince visiting from another kingdom, Aladdin went to
see Princess Jasmine again. That night, Aladdin took Jasmine to ride on a
magical carpet that they would never forget. Flying over deserts, mountains, and
oceans, Jasmine and Aladdin discovered a whole new world.
“Goodnight, my handsome prince,” Jasmine said.
However, Jafar had evil plan. He ordered his guards to throw Aladdin into the
sea. Aladdin used his second wish to ask the genie to save him. But then Jafar
stole the magic lamp. Now, the genie had to serve Jafar, Aladdin tricked old
man into making one of his wishes.
“I wish to be the most powerful sorcerer!” the old man declared.
the old man transformed himself into a snake and attacked Aladdin. Aladdin
wished for the old man to be the most powerful genie. the old man was trapped
forever, like the other genies, becoming a prisoner in the lamp.
After seeing these events, the Sultan told Jasmine that she could marry whoever
she chose. Princess Jasmine chose to marry her true love, Aladdin.
Now Aladdin and his mother live together with princess jasmine in a
magnificent palace
Well ladies and gentlemen, I have good quotation based on the story. It is from
Stephen Kaggwa “Try to fail, but don’t fail to try.” The moral of the story is to
keep believing in your dreams, as change is always possible.
Okay, ladies and gentlemen. That is all from me. I hope you can take something
positive from the story.
Thank you very much for giving me attention.
Aladdin and The Magic Lamp
Good morning, everyone.
The most honourable judges, respected all teachers, viewers, and all audiences here. Let me

Well, on this special occasion, I would like to tell you an amazing story. The title is Aladdin
and The Magic Lamp. The story of Aladdin is the most famous story from the Arabian Nights
collection of stories, also known as the One Thousand and One Nights. Have you ever heard
this story before, ladies and gentlemen? Ok. let me tell you and please listen to me carefully.
Once upon a time, in a faraway land, there lived a poor young man named Aladdin. He lived
in a Middle Eastern city with his mother. Aladdin was an intelligent, adventurous young man
who loved to travel, even though he lived in poverty.
One day, an evil sorcerer entered to the city pretending to be a distant relative of Aladdin's
father who had passed away. He went up to Aladdin.
Sorcerer: "Aladdin, I am your father's brother. I have travelled from a distant place. With a
little help from me, I can make your life much better."
Curious, Aladdin inquired.
Aladdin: "Is that right? How are you able to assist me?"
Sorcerer: "Come with me, and you'll see for yourself."
Aladdin was led by the sorcerer to a secret cave outside the city. When they arrived, he
pointed to a hidden doorway..
Sorcerer: "Come inside, Aladdin. There is an immeasurable wealth hidden inside this cave.
An antique lamp that you will find inside is all you need to bring. Bring me the lamp, and
then we will share the wealth."
Foolishly, Aladdin went inside the cave. He looked about and discovered the ancient lamp the
sorcerer had spoken of.
Aladdin: "I’ve found the lamp! Pull me out now!"
Unfortunately, the evil sorcerer attempted to mislead Aladdin and left him stranded inside the
cave just as he was ready to give over the lamp.
Sorcerer (laughing wickedly): "Goodbye, Aladdin!"
Aladdin started looking for a way out, but suddenly, the ring the sorcerer had given him
began to glow. Aladdin unintentionally rubbed the ring, and a small genie appeared from
within.
Ring Genie: "I am the genie of this ring. What is your wish, my master?"
Aladdin: "Take me out of this cave!"
Instantly, Aladdin was carried out of the cave by the ring genie. He then brought the antique
lamp back home. Not long after, Aladdin unintentionally rubbed the lamp while cleaning it,
and a big genie popped out.

Lamp Genie: " I am the genie of the lamp. I will do you a Favor. I will grant you three
wishes. What is the first thing you wish for?"
Aladdin (astonished): "Take me home with this lamp!"
Aladdin's desire was instantly fulfilled, and Aladdin returned home safely. From then on,
Aladdin’s life changed completely. With the help of the lamp genie, he became incredibly
wealthy. One day, Aladdin saw Princess Badroulbadour and fell in love with her. He spoke to
the lamp genie.
Aladdin: "Genie, I want to marry Princess Badroulbadour. But I am just an ordinary young
man. What can I do?"
Lamp Genie: "I will assist you, my master. Get some amazing gifts to impress the king."
With the genie’s help, Aladdin constructed a splendid palace and gave the king priceless
treasures. After being greatly impressed, the king at last approved Aladdin's marriage to
Princess Badroulbadour.

Disguised as a wealthy prince visiting from another kingdom, That night, Aladdin took
Princess Badroulbadour to ride on a magical carpet that they would never forget. Flying over
deserts, mountains, and oceans, Princess Badroulbadour and Aladdin discovered a whole new
world.
However, the evil sorcerer had not given up. He returned in disguise and managed to steal the
magic lamp from Aladdin. When Aladdin realized what had happened, he spoke to the ring
genie.
Aladdin: "Genie, the sorcerer has stolen my magic lamp and taken Princess Badroulbadour!
Please help me."
Ring Genie: "I am not as powerful as the lamp genie, but I can help you get closer to the
sorcerer's palace."
Using his cleverness, Aladdin managed to sneak into the sorcerer's palace and reclaim the
magic lamp. Then he called on the lamp genie again.

Aladdin: "Genie, bring back my palace and Princess Badroulbadour!"

The lamp genie granted the wish, and Aladdin finally defeated the evil sorcerer and lived
happily ever after with his princess in their grand palace.
Aladdin (smiling): "Now, I will keep this magic lamp safe. I won’t let it fall into the wrong
hands again."
Well ladies and gentlemen, I have good quotation based on the story. It is from Stephen
Kaggwa “Try to fail, but don’t fail to try.” The moral of this story is the importance of
cleverness, kindness, and how wealth and power do not always guarantee happiness if not
used wisely.
Okay, ladies and gentlemen. That is all from me. I hope you can take something positive from
the story.
Thank you very much for giving me attention.
