habitat loss. It has become one of the most
endangered mammals in the world, with only
1,600 of them left. Although they have been
protected from hunting since 1984, Pandas are still
disappearing.
Pandas live in the south central of China. It is a
lazy animal. It feeds on bamboo trees and sometimes
eats birds. Adult male measures around 1.2 to 1.9 m
high and weighs up to 160 kg.
Panda has thick black and white fur. This mammal
lives up to 20 years. It is a vulnerable species, so
there are few numbers living in China Mountains.
Because of deforestation and pollution. People hunt
them for clothing or decorative items.
