Exercise Pr1:

A communication agency specializing in the promotion of organic and eco-responsible products


has a program of display of its advertisements, from a unique directory and without criteria. It
wants to differentiate the display by their size, by the type of product and by the type of eco-
responsibility they promote.

They have 4 possible sizes:

 A0, A1, A2 and A3

They promote at least 7 types of products:

- Clothing;
- Sweet groceries and savory groceries;
- Fruits, vegetables;
- Sweet groceries and savory groceries;
- Fish shop;
- Appliances;
- IT;

They have at least 6 eco-responsibility criteria:

- Organic Product
- Regional product
- Regional and organic product
- Non-GMO product
- Low consumption appliances
- Refurbished computing

Part I

I.1 Design a relational database of their posters .


a) List the attributes you want to save.
b) Identify the main entities.
c) Identify entities that make it possible not to repeat information.
d) Construct the MCD, Conceptual Data Model.
e) Configure the list of attributes for each entity.
f) Construct the MLD, logical data model
I.2 State the SQL command that allows to have the total list of posters with all the foreign
keys.
I.3 State z the SQL command that allows to have the total list of posters with all foreign
attributes (All information).
I.4 State the SQL command that allows you to have the list of posters of size A2.
I.5 State the SQL command which allows to have the list of posters of size A2 and
concerning the computer.

Part II

Your database has been created at the agency who now wants to make a program in order
prompt to order the large internal billboard of the company.

II.1 Construct the program's algorithm knowing that it asks the operator:
a. The desired size
b. Then the type of poster want,
c. The type of eco-responsibility
Before displaying the corresponding advertisements every 20s.
We will call:
- ConnectDB (Displays) the function that connects to the poster database.
- AdDisplay (PubID) the function that displays the advertisement whose ID is PubID.

Part III

The agency wants to create a simple Android application to promote its products &
advertisements.

Develop a method for performing this function.

The method must be presented with commented diagrams:

III.1 For the database with a concrete example of a possible solution


III.2 For the application by declining a possible user experience (possible mode of operation).
