2 SOFTWARE CONFIGURATION
The default IP address of the ADAM 6066 is 10.0.0.1. The IP address and subnet mask of the
configuration computer must therefore be changed. Open network connections right click on
the network adapter and select properties. Select the Internet Protocol and select Properties.
Configure the IP address like this:

Press OK twice.

Download and install ADAM 5000 TCP-6000 utility.

Start the ADAM 5000 TCP-6000 utility. The utility should now find the module:

Click on 6066 in the left view.


Click on the IP address in the left view. ((10.0.0.1) – (ADAM-6066)
Click on the network tab and set the IP address to 192.168.127.125 and the subnet mask to
255.255.0.0 for the module that shall be used for hoist controll. Use subnet mask 255.255.0.0. in
all cases.

Press Apply. The default password of ADAM-6000 is “00000000”.

The IP address and subnet mask of the configuration computer must be changed again. Open
network connections right click on the network adapter and select properties. Select the Internet
Protocol and select Properties.
Configure the IP address back to the original settings:

3 HIPAP TEST
Start APOS and HiPAP . Log on as service in HiPAP. Select Configure -> System
configuration. Enter the IP addresses as shown below; Make sure both are enabled.

Verify that APOS gets a toolbar Icon for the hull unit. Also verify that messages are sent from
HiPAP to APOS with Hullunit information and sluice information.
