Will She Ever Get To Grandma s?

(Based on Little Red Riding Hood)

CHARACTERS y Red A teenage girl or boy who is a drug addict in denial Mother/Father A worried parent who is scared and fed up of their child s drug problem Wolf/ Human A normal human who is seen as a wolf only by Red

PLOT OUTLINE Red has been sent off to her Grandma s house as her mother or father can t take the idea of her taking drugs anymore. She goes through the forest to get to her Grandma s but as she is a rebellious teenager, she intakes drugs into her system, causing her to trip. As she is walking through the forest, she bumps into a young person who she believes is the wolf. In fear and in self-defence during her drugged up state, she kills the wolf and runs away in realisation of her actions.

SCENES (Optional) 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. Opening shot of the house. Hear arguing from mother and daughter A kitchen scene. Alternate portrait shots of Red and her parent arguing Cut to front door closing and Red storms off lighting a spliff A shot behind Red walking down the forest path smoking and then stubbing it out Tracking shot of Red walking and looking unhappy Grey-hooded person bumps into her quite harshly Red flinches in pain. Looks up. Fuzzy shots of the person s face Human face/ Wolf face 8. Red screams. The boy/wolf tries to calm her down but she thinks he s trying to attack her 9. Red walks backwards in fear. Trips over a rock 10. Boy/Wolf bends down to help. Again, this manoeuvre is misinterpreted by Red who beats him up with the rock and runs away.

Mum s The Word (Based on Little Red Riding Hood)

PLOT OUTLINE
Red has been sent to her Grandma s by her mother because she is completely fed up of Red s drug addiction and is getting to a point where she doesn t know her daughter anymore and is traumatised by the whole situation. Red goes through the forest to get to her Grandma s and on the way, Red intakes a drug causing her to trip. As she is walking through the forest, she thinks she can see a wolf and begins to get scared and walk faster. For a while she can t see the wolf but then it jumps out in front of her and kills her. At the end, we see the wolf take of its mask revealing its identity as Red s mother.

Black screen. Fades up as sound of an argument fades up. Red and her mother are arguing in the kitchen. 2. Mother tells Red to go to her Grandma s and Red shouts I hate you before she leaves and the camera stays on mother as she breathes in heavily and nods to herself as in right, it s time . 3. A shot behind Red as she walks through the forest and stubs out her spliff 4. Tracking shot of Red looking around and then she jerks as she thinks she has seen something 5. Blurry shots of the wolf running through the forest 6. Red walking faster, takes her phone out and looking precautious 7. Shot of the forest without the wolf 8. Red drops her phone and bends down to pick it up 9. As she gets up, the wolf appears. BLACK OUT. Red screams 10. Pan up from Red collapsed on the ground to the wolf taking its mask of to reveal itself as the mother. She falls to her knees and breaks down. Sobbing and saying I m so sorry etc. 1.

Harry and Grace (Based on Hansel and Gretel)

CHARACTERS
y y y y Harry Tells his sister what to do all the time Grace Quiet yet menacing and does what Harry says Mother Dislikes her children and wants them to leave Father Is a loving and caring man Woman Weak, poor-looking woman (tramp)

PLOT OUTLINE
Harry and Grace s mother is shouting at them and tells them they are grounded. Their mother discusses with their father that she is going to make them fend for themselves and is going to tell them to leave. The next day, their parents pretend that they are going to Disneyland but instead, they are pushed out the car and abandoned in the forest. A few weeks have passed and they have become weak as they cannot find any food. They see a timid old woman and become carnivorous. They trick the old woman into coming with them where they kill her, cook her, and eat her.

PROPS/ COSTUMES y y Harry and Grace Any clothes which then become ripped and muddy due to being in the forest Woman Layers of dirty, old clothes.

SCENES (Optional) 1. 2. Harry and Grace are sat on the sofa. Shot looking down them and you hear their mother saying You re grounded! Go to your room! Cut to a shot by the door where they storm off and their mum sits down on the sofa and the father comes to comfort her. She says she has had enough and her husband doesn t know what to do in which, she replies I know now . FADE OUT. FADE UP. It s the next day and their mother goes into their shared bedroom telling them that they are going to Disneyland. Cut to them all in the car. Arrived outside a forest. H and G have fallen asleep. Mum gets out to lift them out to not wake them. Mum asks Dad for help. He doesn t want to but knows that he has to. The car revs off and H and G wake up and run after the car. [A few weeks later...] H and G look ill and weak. They go for a walk and see an old woman. They go up to her and persuade her to come back with them. As they walk in front of her. They charge up towards her screaming. BLACK OUT. Thumping and screams. FADE UP. H and G are now seen eating meaty items and wearing the old woman s clothes for warmth.
