Role Play Script
Aira:
Alright, ladies, we’ve got a new candidate for the team. It’s important we make this recruitment
process clear and engaging. Any ideas?
Hana:
How about we introduce ourselves and show how each of us contributes. It’ll help her see the
big picture about our company.
Micaela:
I agree, but we should also be clear about what we expect. We need someone who can handle
responsibilities and fit into our team culture.
Joriz:
Maybe we can make the recruitment process more interactive. Instead of a formal interview,
let’s have a casual discussion to see how she interacts with us.
Ashley:
Great idea! We could ask her to solve a recent problem to see her creativity in action. It’s less
formal but shows her thinking process.
Aira:
Sounds good. We’ll start with introductions, give her a scenario, and see her ideas. That’ll show
us if she’s a good fit.
Micaela:
Not at all! Come in, have a seat. We’re discussing the recruitment process and are excited to
meet you.
Aira:
Welcome, Shaira! We’re a team that values collaboration, creativity, and a bit of fun. We’ll
introduce ourselves, then have a brainstorming session. Ready?
Shaira:
Absolutely! Let’s do it.
Aira:
I’ll start! I’m Aira, the Team Leader. I am from South America and my job is to keep everyone on
track and make sure we’re hitting our goals. In this team we value collaboration and new ideas.
Hana:
Hey Shaira, I’m Hana, the Marketing Head from Visayas! I handle branding and outreach. If you
have bold ideas, I’m the one to talk to.
Micaela:
I’m Micaela, the HR Manager from Mindoro. I manage recruiting and make sure the team works
well together. I also focus on a supportive work environment.
Joriz:
Nice to meet you Shaira, I’m Joriz, the Operations Head and I’m originally from Cebu. I make
sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. In this team, we make sure to get things done
efficiently.
Ashley:
And I’m Ashley, the Creative Director from Canada. I lead design and visuals. If you have
creative ideas, bring them to me because creativity is in my middle name! We're all about
innovation here.
Aira:
Now that you know a little about us, let's see your creativity in a brainstorming session.
Joriz:
Okay, Shaira, imagine we’re launching an eco-friendly product. How would you promote it to our
audience?
Ashley:
I love that! The journey idea will keep people engaged. We can make it visually appealing too.
Aira: (Nods)
Great thinking, Shaira. That’s exactly what we’re looking for—impactful and creative.
Micaela:
I agree. You handled that well—calm and clear. A great trait for our team.
Hana:
You’ve already shown us you’re ready to be part of this team!
Shaira:
Thank you! I’m really excited about the possibility of working with all of you.
Ashley:
Yup, you passed the vibe check!
Shaira:
I’m glad to hear that. Thanks again for the opportunity.

-End of Scene-
The scene highlights the importance of creating an inclusive and collaborative environment
during the recruitment process, especially in a diverse workplace. The team’s approach of open
communication, valuing creativity, and encouraging problem-solving reflects the benefits of
diversity in action. By involving everyone in the decision-making process and providing a
comfortable, interactive experience for the candidate, the team ensures that they recruit
someone who not only fits the skill requirements but also aligns with the team’s culture and
values.
The lesson is that in a diverse workplace, recruitment should go beyond qualifications—it
should also focus on fostering a supportive, respectful, and innovative environment where
everyone’s strengths and ideas are appreciated. This encourages better teamwork, creativity,
and long-term success for the organization.
