Delete Object

 Delete objects using the Delete key or the context menu.


 Deleting an object will remove it from the model entirely.
If you only want to deactivate an object without removing it from the model, use Model Configuration.
 Depending on the type of object you deleted, other related objects may be deleted
automatically.

Type of Object Deleted Results

All the loads, supports and shape controls


Part
attached to that part are deleted.
All the parts and subassemblies in the assembly
Assembly
are deleted recursively.
The loads and displacements in that load case
Load Case aren't deleted.

The entity is deleted from the model and


Load, Support, Displacement Constraint consequently all load cases.
