During June 2024, the main operational activity on site has been focused on the following items
Medium Voltage:
Half-Year (H) Lubricate locks and hinges
Half-Year (H) Function test lights
Half-Year (H) Check the switchgears SF6 gas pressure
Half-Year (H) Online partial discharge testing
Half-Year (H) Thermal imaging survey of the main components
Half-Year (H) Operate all the circuit breakers
Half-Year (H) Carry out earth test where required
Half-Year (H) Function testing relays of the control panels
Half-Year (H) Check the operation of the electromechanical relays of the control panels
Half-Year (H) Testing of the emergency lights
Half-Year (H) Check the transformer(s) oil level

Half-Year (H) Check all the sealing of all the joints of the power transformers

Note:
The external causes like agricultural works taking place all around the Benban Solar Park by
the Egyptian authorities (including massive grading works) are the root cause behind the
sudden increase in the soiling values.
As a corrective action to overcome such Force Majeure, BOTE has increased the cleaning
progress.
