QUICK MATH GAME: FAST LEARNING FOR BASIC MATH PROBLEM

BACKGROUND STUDY:

A quick math skill refers to the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations quickly and
accurately, without relying on a calculator or other external tools. This skill typically includes
the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers in one's head, as well as the ability
to estimate solutions and perform mental calculations.

Having good quick math skills can be useful in many areas of life, including in academic and
professional settings, as well as in everyday activities such as budgeting, shopping, and
cooking. It can also help to build confidence and improve problem-solving abilities.

PROBLEM STATEMENT:

Despite the importance of basic math skills, many individuals struggle with performing
simple calculations quickly and accurately on top of their head. This can lead to difficulty in
everyday tasks such as managing finances, measuring ingredients for cooking, or even
calculating tips at a restaurant. Traditional methods of practicing math skills, such as
worksheets or flashcards, can be boring and ineffective, leading to disengagement and a lack
of motivation to continue learning.

PROJECT AIM:

The proposed project aims to develop an engaging and interactive math game that helps users
improve their basic math skills.. The game provide a fun and enjoyable way for users to
practice and reinforce their knowledge of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
EXPECTED OUTPUT:

The expected result of a Quick Math Game that is designed for fast learning of basic math
problems would be to improve the math skills of its users in an engaging and enjoyable way.
Some specific expected results could include:

1. Increased speed and accuracy in basic math operations such as addition, subtraction,
multiplication, and division.

2. Improved confidence and problem-solving abilities when it comes to math problems.

3. Increased motivation and engagement with math learning, leading to a greater


interest in pursuing more advanced math topics.

4. Enhanced cognitive and analytical skills, as math requires logical thinking, problem-
solving, and attention to detail.

5. Better performance in math-related tasks and assessments, such as homework,


quizzes, and exams.

TARGET USER:

The target users of a quick math game designed for fast learning of basic math problems
could include a variety of individuals who want to improve their math skills. Some possible
target users could include students, adults, senior citizens and casual gamers.

MARKET VALUE:

The proposed project has significant market potential in for fast learning of basic math
problems. There is certainly a demand for educational games and apps that can help people
improve their math skills, and the market for such products is growing. In addition, the
COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the shift towards online learning and remote education,
which has increased the demand for educational games and apps that can be accessed from
home. This trend is expected to continue even after the pandemic subsides, as more people
become comfortable with online learning and seek out new ways to improve their skills and
knowledge.
