Regarding: Firmware Versions


Date: 6/1/2015 Effective: Immediately

Firmware Version for Shore Power on Start Batteries (instead of on the Climacab Auxiliary batteries)
Crosspoint Solutions has released firmware versions for the evaporator card and PMM in its 3.0 ClimaCab
systems for application where Shore Power is located on the Start Batteries. You can obtain these updates from
the Crosspoint Solutions’ Portal. Instructions for installing the updates are included in the update zip file. The
following actions are required:

1. Download the Firmware Update ZIP file from the Crosspoint Solutions’ distributor portal.
2. Within this Zip file are the Nanuk Update Installer and instructions. Read the instructions and follow the
procedure outlined.

This Firmware update and Addons includes the following:


 Modified firmware to allow Climacab to operate when ShorePower is located on the start batteries. This
included an "engine on/ crank detection” algorithm that will turn Climacab OFF whenever the engine is
cranked.
 Update for the touchscreen to display the voltages for both the start and auxiliary battery packs.
 Update of the text associated with the Climcab Error Decoder Addon.
 Update of the electrical current shown in the Climacab Diagnostic Addon.

Warning: Do not use this firmware version (PMM 1.2.4.0 & Evap 3.3.8.0)
if Shorepower is not on the start bank. If Shorepower is on the
Climacab batteries then ref 3.3.6.0 ( PMM 1.2.2.0 & Evap 3.3.6.0)
