1.Describe how a jerk type of fuel pump is replaced, making specific reference to initial setting and
governor connections. Explain how the actual and effective strokes are adjusted. Identify the common
faults of these pumps. State how engine performance is affected by each of these faults and why prompt
attention is necessary.
