MANSONEILAN FO REGULATING VALVE

 Loosen lucking nut.

 Look at the LP1 for FO
flow setting when the boiler
is at ST-by position.
 Compare the Actual flow
with the regulating output
for the valve.
 The regulating output must
be + 5-10% of the actual FO
flow
 Use a flat screw driver and
turn the screw ¼ rev.
Observe the oil flow and
regulating output for the
FO regulating valve.
 Continue until flow and reg.
out is +5 to 10%
 When acceptable reading is
reached. Retighten locking
nut.

 Anti clock vice = Regulating valve will open = Higher oil flow = controller
will decrees signal to mach set point.
 Clock vice = Regulating valve will close = Lower oil flow = controller will
increase signal to mach set point.

Info.
When adjusting the Oil regulating valve on DO, the valve is not the same
temperature as when using HFO.
It’s therefore always recommended to have a higher regulating output than actual
flow. The regulating output is not able to go below 0% therefore is regulating output
is lower than the actual flow and there can still be flow, even there is no signal to oil
regulating valve.
The increasing temperature when using HFO causes the tension of the springs for
the valve to slack and the valve to open slightly more giving more oil.

This guide is a quick guide. For commissioning and calibration of valve see AAL
