What does noting significant details mean?
Noting details is a reading comprehension skill that
involves picking out a piece of text information to achieve a
given purpose. These details are the ones that good readers
notice and authors use to emphasize.
Why is noting significant details important?
To note significant details is an essential reading skill
any learner must know. It is the initial skill needed to
comprehend any reading text not only in the English subject
but also in other subjects. In fact, it is a life skill needed to
understand all written text seen in print and online media and
elsewhere
What is informational report?
Informational report is a factual text type that classifies,
describes, and gives factual information about people, animal,
things or phenomena. It begins with a genera; definition, then
lists related information about the topic, and ends with a
concluding comment.
