 UG FEE STRUCTURE FOR GOVT QUOTA SEATS

Fee structure for Puducherry UT and All-India Quota candidates:

a) Caution Deposit (refundable) : Rs.20,000/-

b) Fees for the first year

i. Admission fees (at the time of admission only) : Rs.50,000/-

ii. Academic fees : Rs.22,000/-
iii. Special fees : Rs.11,000/-
iv. Lab fees : Rs.11,000/-
v. Library fees : Rs.11,000/-
vi. Cultural fees : Rs.4,400/-
vii. Student Welfare fund : Rs.1,100/-
viii. College Development fund : Rs.11,000/-
ix. Sports fees : Rs. 2,200/-
Grand Total : Rs.1,43,700/-

 The Puducherry UT candidates have to pay the fees of Rs.1,43,700/- to the CENTAC
before reporting to the college; for more information refer www.centacpuducherry.in

 The All-India candidates have to pay the fees of Rs.1,43,700/- at the time of reporting
at the college.

c) Hostel Fees (at the time of admission to Hostel, item below i to vi per annum)

i. For single occupancy : Rs. 30,000/-

(attached bath subject to availability)
ii. For single occupancy in a double room : Rs. 25,000/- (per head)
(bath non- attached)
iii. For each occupant in a double room : Rs.12,500/- (per head)
iv. Utility Charges : Rs.10,000/- (per head)
v. Hostel Establishment charges : Rs. 3,000/- (per head)
vi. Hostel Students Welfare Fund : Rs. 100/- (per head)
 e) Hostel Fees (at the time of admission to Hostel):

i. Caution Deposit (refundable) : Rs. 10,000/-

ii. Mess deposit (refundable) : Rs. 20,000/-
iii. Mess fees (monthly) : As levied

If a student vacates the hostel during the academic year, rent will be deducted on pro-rata

monthly basis. (even if the occupancy is in fraction of a month)

Joint declaration in the format available with the institute should be furnished by the

candidate and parent/guardian at the time of admission.

If a candidate discontinues the course on or before the last date of counselling of the

respective academic year of admission he/ she shall will have to forego the caution deposit

Rs.20,000/- and in case the candidate leaves the course on or after the last date announced

by NMC or any other Competent Authority or during any other subsequent academic years

he/she shall have to pay a sum of Rs.4,00,000/- as penalty. (Separate agreement bond should

be signed by the candidates and parent/guardian along with two sureties for the aforesaid,

which is available with the Institute)

Fees mentioned in parenthesis as ‘Refundable’ shall be refunded after the candidate gets

relieved from the institute, upon satisfactory completion of the course.

Registration fee, Matriculation fee, Recognition fee, University development fee, Sports fee,

Examination Fee and any other fee that may be levied by the University shall be payable at the

rate as prescribed by the Pondicherry University, within in the stipulated time. The above fee

structure is subject to revision.

4. Mess fees Prevailing rate

* the actual deposit amount remitted by the applicant in INR at the time of joining will be
refunded in INR by Cheque (or) NEFT/RTGS after completion of the course

Fees (except caution deposit) once paid shall not be refunded.
The University fees, Examination fees and other fees levied are to be paid separately.
If a student vacates the hostel during the academic year, rent will be deducted on pro-rata

 PG FEE STRUCTURE (MD/ MS - 3 YEARS)

Fee structure for postgraduates (MD/MS-3 YEARS)

(A). College Fees:

i). Caution Deposit (refundable) : Rs.25,000/-

ii). Admission fees (at the time of : Rs.50,000/-

admission only)

iii). Academic fees (Annual) : Rs.33,000/-

iv). Learning Resource fee (Annual) : Rs.44,000/-

v). Establishment Charges (Annual) : Rs.33,000/-

Grand Total : Rs.1,85,000/-

(B). Hostel Fees:

i). Caution Deposit (refundable) : Rs.10,000/-

ii). Room Rent (per month) : Rs. 4,000/- (single room)

*The above fees structures is subject to change

* Room Rent Rs.4,000/- (per month) shall be deducted from the Stipend amount
payable to the respective P.G. Student.

* If a student vacates the hostel during the academic year, rent will be deducted on pro-rata
monthly basis.

Upon completion of the course, only the caution deposit shall be refunded when the candidate
gets relieved from the institute.

Registration fee, Recognition fee, University development fee, Examination fee and any other
fee that may be levied by the University shall be payable at the rate as prescribed by the
Pondicherry University, within the stipulated time.
