Fill in the blanks listening practice

Andrew:

Are you an impulse shopper? Impulse shopping is when you get an idea in your head that
you wanna buy something and then you buy it right away. Or another example of impulse
shopping could be ______________ ____________a store and seeing something that you
didn't _____________ to buy and then buying it right away.

Impulse shopping can be a pretty bad habit I suppose, you could end up wasting a lot of
money this way. Thankfully, I'm not an impulse shopper but I guess you could say that I'm
an impulse _____________ _____________. Window shopping is when you look at items
that you wanna buy but you don't actually buy them. Now I'll give you an example of what I
mean by impulse window shopper.

Last night I was watching a bike race. Long time listeners of Culips will know that I'm pretty
interested in bicycles. So, I was watching this race on T.V and _____________I got the
idea about buying a new bicycle. Why shouldn't I be able to ride as fast as the
_____________? Why shouldn't I be able to look as cool as the pros? So as I'm watching
the race, I spent a lot of time on my phone looking through different websites at bicycles
and bike shops online thinking about _____________ a new bicycle. Thankfully the
_____________ side of me kicked in and I talked myself out of making an impulse
purchase.

When it comes to shopping, I guess I'm pretty reasonable, that might just play into the fact
that I actually hate shopping. Anyway, I'll leave it at that for today. Talk to you next time,
bye.
