5. Use the Cycle Section Tail control (1) to
display the same section head marker
on both ends of the line. Then pick the
Gaps in Segment control (2) to create a
gap and use the drag controls to drag
the lines away from the building.

6. In the Project Browser, right-click on
Section 1 and choose Rename. Name
the view Key Section.

8. Select one of the Levels visible in the
view, right-click, and choose Hide in
View > Category.

10. Select the toposurface, right-click, and
choose Override Graphics in View > By
Category.

11. Set the Cut Patterns foreground
pattern to Solid Fill. Then change the
color to Grey (RGB value 192-192-192).
Click OK to apply the overrides.

12. Click the crop region and use the
bottom drag control to crop the view
closer to the foundations. Then click
the Crop Region Visibility button on the
View Control Bar to hide it in the view.

14. Expand the Shadows panel and select
the Cast Shadows option. Then expand
the Lighting panel and set the Shadows
value to 20.

15. Expand the Depth Cueing panel and
select the Show Depth option. Then set
the Fade Start/End Location Far value
to 30 and the Fade Limit (%) Dark
value to 15. Then click OK to apply the
changes.

17. In the Project Browser, right-click over
the {3D} view and choose Duplicate
View > Duplicate. Then rename the
view 3D Section.

19. Use the ViewCube or Navigation Wheel
to orbit the view to display in 3D.
