I have carefully examined the Ph.D. thesis submitted by Mr. Mohammed Murshed
Ali Alkhasi on the research topic entitled, “The Prospects and Challages of Applying E-
Management Tech. In the Sana'a City & Aurangabad City In Maharashtra, India” under
the guidance of Dr. Gajanan Mudholkar, School of Commerce & Management Sciences,
S.R.T.M. University, Nanded.
The candidate has selected unique topic on „The Prospects and Challages of
Applying E-Management Tech. In the Sana'a City & Aurangabad City in Maharashtra,
India‟. The statement of the research problem, the objectives, hypotheses and
questionnaire are framed as per the requisite of research topic.
Chapter I Introduction

This chapter describes the introduction to the topic, challenges and prospects.
This chapter covers statement of the research problem and importance of the research
problem. It also covers the research questions, objectives and hypotheses of the research
study. It also includes the scope and summary of the thesis along with the lay out of the
thesis.
This chapter presents the introduction to the literature reviewed on prospects and
challenges in applying Electronic Management Techniques The literature on application
of Electronic Management Techniques is studied at national level and at international
level. The literature on related research topic is reviewed through 47 Arabic different
national and international research papers and 43 other international research papers. The
summary and research gap are properly given by the researcher after studying 90 research
papers published in journals, conference proceedings and etc. This chapter is ended with
references of the literature reviewed.
This chapter focuses on the information about Yemen and India and an overview
of electronic administration and education in both the countries.
This chapter comprises introduction and significance of the study. It also contains
research design representing universe, population, sampling frame and sampling element.
The sample size determination is done and calculated size sample are mentioned for the
present research study. This chapter is dedicated to the outlining the research problem.
This chapter covers the analysis and interpretation of the data from 47 tables
related to answering questions and testing hypotheses. Additionally it discusses the
reliability and validity of the study tool. The hypothesis testing is done with the help of
statistical tests like t test and etc.

Chapter VII Findings, Conclusions, Recommendations and Suggestions
This is the chapter and having the final outcome of the research. The overall study
made by the researcher on the selected topic, has been found and suggestions are made
based on the research carried out. In general, 10 special tables have been made to
describe the most important conclusions and findings and suggestions are given. This
chapter presents a summary of the most important opinions of study sample from which
the most important findings and conclusions are drawn. The proposed future studies
related to the electronic management and its systems are given. The scope for further
research is also mentioned in this chapter.
On the evaluation of Ph.D. thesis, I found the merits and demerits of the research
study as follows
A. Merits of the research study:
1. Research topic is unique, relevant and is useful for knowing the recent trends in exports
of cut flowers from Maharashtra to foreign countries.
2. The objectives and hypotheses of research study are designed properly as per the
requirement of the research topic.
3. Review of literature is explained with summary of the literature reviewed identifying the
appropriate research gap.
4. Research Methodology is explained with all elements of research design.
5. Data analysis and interpretation is explained with descriptive statistics like percentage
and tables and graphs are properly drawn and description is self-explanatory.
6. Data analysis and interpretation is done with statistical tests for hypothesis testing. The
hypothesis testing is done with the help of inferential statistics such as One Sample t test
wherever it is required.
7. Findings, conclusions and suggestions are given for application of electronic
management techniques in Sanaa City of Yemen and Chh. Sambhajinagar city of India.
The annexure has questionnaire and bibliography. The questionnaire is well structured
and relevant questions are asked as per the need of research study.
B. Demerits of the research study:
1. Few grammatical mistakes are found in the thesis.

Few questions along with above demerits should be asked and clarified at the time
of viva-voce exam of the candidate such as

1. How the sample size is selected for the present research study?
2. How the topic is useful to Higher Education Institutes?
3. Which is the most effective electronic management technique for the institutes of higher
learning as per the research study of researcher?
4. Why t test is used for the hypothesis testing ? What is the use of t test?
I therefore, strongly recommend that the Ph. D Degree may be awarded to Mr.
Mohammed Murshed Ali Alkhasi in the subject Management, under the faculty of Commerce &
Management by Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded subject to
satisfactory viva-voce examination.
