Crochet pattern keychain rabbit

You need:

• Light (US) / Light Worsted (UK) / 240m~100g (EU) e.g. Zeeman Royal
1x Gradient wool and some black
• Crochet hook F (US) / 8 (UK) / 4,0mm (EU)
• Scissors
• Sewing needle
• Filler cotton
• Key ring with chain
• Safety eyes 0,3 inch Ø
• Stitch marker

The finished keychain is approx. 3 inch tall.

Abbreviations (US):

rd =round
st =stitch
ch =chain
sc =single crochet
dc =double crochet Have some fun

Head
it is crocheted in rounds

in Gradient wool cast on 6sc in a magic ring (pic. 1)

1.rd: increase every stitch (=12sc)


2.rd: increase every 2. stitch (=18sc)
3.rd: increase every 3. stitch (=24sc)
4.rd: increase every 4. stitch (=30sc)
5.rd: increase every 5. stitch (=36sc)

6.-10.rd: crochet in every stitch 1sc (=36sc) (pic. 2)

11.rd: decrease every 5. and 6. stitch together (=30sc)


12.rd: decrease every 4. and 5. stitch together (=24sc)
13.rd: decrease every 3. and 4. stitch together (=18sc)

Attach the eyes (pic. 3) and embroiders the mouth (pic. 4).

14.rd: decrease every 2. and 3. stitch together (=12sc)

Fill the head (pic. 5)

15.rd: decrease each two stitches together (=6sc)

Sew the remaining hole, sews on the key ring at same time and leaving long tail for sewing (pic. 6).

it is crocheted in rounds

cast on 10ch + 3ch (as dc replacement) (pic. 7), begin from the 4. st from hook and crochet:

in the following 9ch each 1dc (pic. 8),

in the last stitch 3dc (pic. 9), now continue crocheting on the other side.

In the back of the following 9ch crochet again each 1dc.

Leaving long tail for sewing (pic. 10).

Completion:
