Manual of AI plugin V2.

I AI plugin installing

1 Open the "Ai plugin" folder and click the plugin.

2 Select version of AI software and click "Install".

3 Open AI software.(If there is an error, see "IV Error occurrs when open AI")

3 Select "File" ——"CutSmart" ——"Parameter setting".

4 If use USB cable, select "COM" and "USB-SERIAL CH340", and "copys" means how many pieces

of material to cut.

II AI Drawing Printing and Cutting


1 Create 3 layers: “Mark”, "cutline" and "print".

2 Put printed graphic on "print"layer.

3 Put cutting line on "cutline" layer.

4 Select all graphics and select "File" ——"CutSmart" ——"Add Mark".

5 Select"OK" to generate the mark line,it is recommended to change the margin to at least 8mm.

6 Before printing, change the mark line to dot.

7 Hide the "cutline" layer then print.

8 Change the mark line to “L” shape,before cutting.

9 Hide the "print" layer before cutting.

10 select "File" —— "CutSmart"—— "Output to plotter" and click "cut".

11 Note: contour line cannot be outside the mark.

12 Instruction: the distance between the mark and the paper edge can be adjusted.

III Cutting with U disk(AI)
1 Hide print layer, then select all graphics.

2 Select "File" ——"CutSmart" ——"Setting".

3 Change the PortType to "File"which means to save the U disk.

4 Select "File" —— "CutSmart"—— "Output to plotter" and click "cut".

5 Save the file to U disk, such as "test".

6 Insert the U disk into the machine, press "FILE" key to find the "test" file, and press the "CUT"
key to cut.

IV Error occurrs when open AI

1 If error occurrs whe open AI software after install AI plugin.

2 Open“NOTE”file.

3 According to the computer system, install the program.
