The Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) Program generates reliable statistics for use in law
enforcement. It provides information for students of criminal justice, researchers, the media,
and the public. The program provides crime statistics since 1930. Stanislaus County complied
with the program, and all reported crimes are indexed accordingly.

misdemeanor charges decreased as well.

offenses (including traffic, drug, parking, and
other misdemeanors) increased in the contract
cities of Patterson and Waterford. Conversely,
these numbers decreased in Hughson,
Riverbank, and unincorporated areas.
