Before you begin:

 This amigurumi/plush is worked in continuous rounds. I mark the
beginning of each round with a stitch marker to help keep track of where
I am.
 I use the “magic ring” when starting rounds, there are many youtube
videos teaching how to magic ring or magic circle. This is an alternate
method: ch2, sc x6 (or number of sts noted) in 2nd ch from hook, sl st to
join. Continue on in rounds as noted above.
 Gauge is not important in this project as long as you are consistent with
your tension.
(TIP: Always change colors in the stitch BEFORE the color change by pulling the
new color through the 2 loops, so you begin with the correct color on your
hook!)

Hair
Now it’s time to give your Elf doll some awesome hair!
Take as long a piece of yarn (dk brown) as you can work with. Thread it on
your yarn needle and fold it in half so you can get 2 strands working at the
same time. Started at the back and embroider the hair on to his head. Cover
all the parts that won’t be showing from his hat. Embroider the bottom section
around the back of his head and sides. Also make him some bangs coming out
from his hat.

Congratulations!
Your Elf doll is now complete and ready for play or display. I hope you
enjoyed making this pattern.
Note: Be careful when giving your finished plush to young ones. Your amigurumi
now contains small parts and pieces. If these pieces were to come off, they
could pose a choking hazard to small children and pets.
