Time expressions:
Words like now, at the moment, currently, or right now indicate the Present Continuous.
o Example: He is eating lunch now.
1. Imperative Verbs
These verbs are used to give direct orders, commands, warnings, or requests.
o Examples: Look!, Listen!, Stop!, Hurry up!
2. Attention-Grabbers
These phrases are used to draw immediate attention to something happening now.
o Examples: Look!, Listen!, Notice!
3. Warning Expressions
These verbs or phrases are used to warn someone about danger or something urgent.
o Examples: Watch out!, Be careful!, Look out!

Used to stop someone from continuing their action.
o Stop! You are making a mistake!

The Present Continuous Tense (also called the Present Progressive) is used to describe:
Structure:
am/are/is: Use am with "I," is with he, she, it, and are with you, we, they.
Add -ing to the base verb (e.g., go → going).
o If the verb ends in -e, drop the -e before adding -ing (e.g., make → making).
o If the verb ends in -ie, change ie to y before adding -ing (e.g., die → dying).
o For verbs with one syllable ending in consonant + vowel + consonant, double the
final consonant (e.g., run → running).
