Subject: Reconduct of MDCAT with Proper Transparency

Respected Madam and Honorable Committee Members,

I am writing to you as an MDCAT aspirant of 2024 with a sincere request to reconduct the
MDCAT with proper transparency and management. The paper was leaked 8-9 hours before
the exam, and went viral on social media platforms, including Facebook and WhatsApp
groups. While I acknowledge that the original booklet was not leaked, all 200 answers of the
questions were circulated widely. You can verify that these answers align with the original
booklet by more than 90%.

The leaked paper spread across various social media platforms, and I have provided links to
relevant posts on the following page for your review. Furthermore, it is important to note that
in Islamabad(SZABMU), there were 20 out-of-syllabus questions, resulting in no student
achieving more than 190 marks out of 200. In Sindh(DUHS), however, despite having
around 25 out-of-syllabus questions—proof of which is attached—approximately 683
students managed to score 190 marks, as reported by the High Court. This raises significant
concerns about the integrity of the exam process.

Additionally, Islamabad has uploaded their exam booklet on the official website, whereas
Sindh(DUHS) has not. This lack of transparency likely indicates that the answers are exact
similar to those of the leaked paper.

I believe reconducting the exam is the only solution. Those involved in selling and buying the
leaked paper should face severe consequences, but punishing students who merely viewed
the leaked paper on social media is nearly impossible. The leaked paper was not leaked to
few; it was widely shared, on many WhatsApp and Facebook groups and various social
media platforms.

Importantly, reconducting the exam will not adversely affect the mental health of hardworking
students, as those who achieved high marks can replicate their success through dedication.
Conversely, students who viewed the leaked paper will be effected, but their mental health is
not important to us.

We request a reconduct of the exam with proper management, ensuring no further leaks.
Making this decision will uphold the rights of students who have worked hard for their exams.
