Data reduction is a technique used in

data mining to reduce the size of a


dataset while still preserving the most
important information. This can be
beneficial in situations where the
dataset is too large to be processed
efficiently, orwhere the dataset
contains a large amount of irrelevant
or redundant information.

validity that assesses how well a test

coefficient?
In a multivariate linear regression
model, the beta coefficient represents
the estimated change inthe
dependent variable (y) for aone-unit
change in apredictor variable (x),
while holding all other predictors
constant. It represents the strength of
the relationship between each
predictorvariable and the dependent
variable and the direction of the
relationship (positive or negative).
