11:22-23

Introduction
C
Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Heb. 11:1
There are three levels of faith: the word of faith, the gift of Faith and the Spirit of Faith.
on
The Word of Faith teaches us the principles of faith; the gift of Faith helps us to understand the Word of
Faith; while the Spirit of Faith drives the principles into productivity.
The Spirit of Faith is the highest in the levels of Faith, and it should be the most desired as there is no
challenge on earth that it cannot level. Heb. 11:32-34
fid

 Spirit: means a supernatural being.
 Faith is absolute trust and confidence in God, His Person and His Word.
en
 The Spirit of Faith is the prompting of The Holy Spirit stirring up the faith in us, when challenge
comes. Mark 11:23

What to know about The Spirit of Faith

tia
 There must be faith in one’s heart, with proofs. Dan. 1:11-15
 The Spirit of Faith comes on its own. It can’t be conjured. As the opposition arises, it is triggered off
into action. Dan. 3:17-18
l
 The Spirit of Faith works in people who have the fruit of The Spirit (godly character) evident in them.
Gal. 5:22-23

natural laws. It is an ever-ready force against all uprisings. Mark 11:23

WISDOM
Week 3
Pillar of the Commission: Wisdom
Topic: The place of knowledge
Bible Text: Daniel 9:1-4, 1Kings 4:30-32
Bible Character: Daniel, Solomon
Lesson Objectives: By the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:
 Define Knowledge
 State TWO reasons why knowledge is important in quest for wisdom
Memory verse: “The heart of the discerning acquires knowledge, for the ears of the wise seek it
out.” – Proverbs 18:15
Introduction
Knowledge deals with knowing the facts. On the other hand, wisdom is the final destination in the journey.
It is the ability to judge what is right and true. While we should all aspire to wisdom, we must give
knowledge its proper place. Knowledge takes work, commitment and personal responsibility and is a
C
foundational block for wisdom.
Definition
on
 Wisdom: Knowing what to do from God’s Word and doing it.
 Place: A particular position, point, or area in space; a location
 Knowledge: The information we gain through reasoning or experience.
Therefore, the place of knowledge refers to getting information or understanding through reasoning,
fid
experience, or from being learned, in order to grow in divine wisdom. Prov. 18:15
What is knowledge?
 Knowledge are the examples, truths, and commands that God wants us to know, believe, and heed.
 Knowledge is not morally and ethically neutral. It’s either “good” or “evil.” It will either push you
en
towards good or bad. Romans 16:19
 Real (good) knowledge is from God the Father, the son and the Holy Spirit. James 1:16-18, John
14:6, 1 John 2:20-27.
 Knowledge requires a thirst from us. It doesn’t happen by osmosis. Proverbs 15:14
tia
Why knowledge is important in the quest for wisdom
 Without broad knowledge there cannot be wisdom. Knowledge is a foundation for wisdom. Proverbs
18:15

on
Prosperity: A state of flourishing, thriving, or success, it goes beyond mere wealth and encompasses
various aspects of well-being, including happiness, health, and quality of life.
Prosperity a state of abundance, wealth and riches. It represents plenty and affluence. Prosperity is having
the capacity or means to meet any need.
fid
Giving is a very important way to bless people and this in turn opens us up to even more blessings.
Definition
 Giving: sharing our resources willingly and generously with others, reflecting God's love,
compassion, and desire for us to help those in need. 2 Corinthians 9:7/Luke 6:38
en

 Receiving: Involves accepting God's blessings, grace, and gifts with faith and acknowledging them
as provisions from Him.
This verse highlights the biblical view of giving as an expression of love, kindness, and generosity towards
tia
others, reflecting God's nature and promising blessings for those who give willingly and cheerfully.

What Giving and Receiving Means

l
 The act of giving grows us and draws us closer to Christ which is our greatest blessing.
 God is the greatest giver. He gives us all things, and without Him we are and have nothing.
 We also don’t give to receive accolades for our generosity. Matthew 6:3
 We give out of love of others and love of Christ.
 God will grow us in righteousness as we give in faith, and will use any gift we give to do more than
we could ever imagine.
 Receiving is just as important as it shows us that God is our provider at all times and our
dependence should rest on Him.

So, we should consciously expect to receive from God, every time we give.
27
Importance of Giving and Receiving
 Giving reflects God's character, and when we give generously, we mirror His abundant generosity.
Matthew 10:8b
 Generous giving leads to heavenly rewards, emphasizing eternal significance. Matthew 6:20
 Giving supports the work of God, aiding in the advancement of His kingdom on earth. Proverbs 3:9

The Cost of Not Engaging Prayer Boosters.

 Failure to pray as you give your tithes amount to wasting the ‘tithe’ because we are commanded to
