66.A military truck while carrying a football team of jawans, caused an accident A, a pedestrian died
in the accident, his wife has sued the central government for compensation. Will she succeed?

67.A grows tea and transport it to Kolkata via Assam state legislature has passed a law imposing
taxes on goods carried by road and inland waterways. Is A liable to pay tax?

68.Raghav was taken into custody on suspicion that he was in possession of stolen property. Certain
quantities of gold and silver was taken out from him and kept in custody if police till the disposal if
the case. The gold and silver was misappropriated by police constable. Mr. Raghav wants to sue the

Ravindran. The Jail also instruct Ravindran not to publish the same. Mr. Ravindran moves to the

the breach of privilege of the house. A writ of heabus corpus is filed to secure his release. Decide.

81.A was the bidder at an auction conducted by the divisional forest officer in respect of certain
forest contracts. He was successful bidder and signed the bid sheet. Prior to the auction he signed
the declaration that if the successful bidder did not deposit in the amount of bid, the forest contract
could be reauctioned and the deficiency on the second auction could be recovered from him. Since A
did not deposit that amount, there was reauction and he was sued for deficiency of the reauction.

84.Bhavani Rao was selected as the prime ministerial candidate by PPP party after general elections
of 1991. Bhavani Rao’s PPP had won only 251 seats in Lok Sabha and falls short of simple majority.
PPP negotiated behind the screen with the members of LMM party who had strength of 17 members
in Lok Sabha promising each of LMM members of Rs.1 Crore for casting vote in favour of PPP during
the process of proving majority.According, PPP won confidence vote in parliament. A NGO ‘
Aradhana’ suspecting foul play field a case with CBI and the matter came before the supreme court.
PPP contended before the court privileges under Art.105 Decide.
