Google Pixel (and other AOSP-based devices)

Entering Bootloader Mode:

1. Turn off the phone.


2. Press and hold Volume Down + Power until the device enters bootloader/fastboot
mode.

Factory Reset:

1. In bootloader mode, use the Volume buttons to navigate to "Recovery Mode" and press
the Power button to select it.
2. Once the Android logo appears, hold the Power button and press Volume Up to open
the recovery menu.
3. Use the Volume buttons to select "Wipe data/factory reset" and confirm with the Power
button.

2. Samsung Galaxy Devices

Entering Bootloader Mode (Download Mode):

1. Power off the phone.


2. Hold Volume Down + Bixby button (if available) + Power to enter Download Mode
(for older models) or Volume Down + Volume Up + Power for newer models.
3. When prompted, press Volume Up to confirm entering Download Mode.

Factory Reset:

1. For a factory reset via recovery, turn off the phone.


2. Hold Volume Up + Bixby (if present) + Power until the Samsung logo appears to enter
Recovery Mode.
3. In Recovery Mode, use the Volume buttons to select "Wipe data/factory reset" and
confirm with the Power button.

3. OnePlus Devices

Entering Bootloader Mode:

1. Power off the device.


2. Hold Volume Up + Power to enter Fastboot Mode.
Factory Reset:

1. In fastboot mode, use the Volume buttons to navigate to "Recovery Mode" and press
Power to select it.
2. In recovery, select "Wipe data/factory reset" and confirm the action.

4. Xiaomi (Mi, Redmi, POCO)

Entering Bootloader Mode:

1. Power off the device.


2. Hold Volume Down + Power to enter Fastboot Mode.

Factory Reset:

1. In fastboot mode, use the Volume buttons to select "Recovery Mode" and confirm with
the Power button.
2. Once in recovery, select "Wipe data/factory reset" using the Volume buttons and
confirm with the Power button.

5. Motorola Devices

Entering Bootloader Mode:

1. Power off the phone.


2. Hold Volume Down + Power to enter Fastboot Mode.

Factory Reset:

1. In Fastboot mode, use the Volume buttons to select "Recovery Mode" and confirm with
Power.
2. Once in Recovery Mode, use the Volume buttons to select "Wipe data/factory reset"
and confirm with Power.

Entering Bootloader Mode:

1. Power off the device.


2. Hold Volume Down + Power to enter Fastboot Mode.
Factory Reset:

1. In Fastboot mode, use the Volume buttons to navigate to "Recovery Mode" and press
Power to select it.
2. In Recovery Mode, select "Wipe data/factory reset" using the Volume buttons and
confirm with the Power button.

Entering Bootloader Mode (Download Mode):

1. Power off the phone.


2. Hold Volume Up + Power to enter Download Mode.

Factory Reset:

1. In recovery mode, use the Volume buttons to select "Wipe data/factory reset" and press
Power to confirm.

8. Sony Xperia Devices

Entering Bootloader Mode:

1. Power off the device.


2. Hold Volume Down + Power to enter Fastboot Mode.

Factory Reset:

1. Once in Fastboot mode, navigate using the Volume buttons to "Recovery Mode" and
confirm with the Power button.
2. In Recovery Mode, select "Wipe data/factory reset" using the Volume buttons and
confirm with the Power button.

9. Asus Zenfone

Entering Bootloader Mode:

1. Power off the device.


2. Hold Volume Down + Power to enter Fastboot Mode.
Factory Reset:

1. In fastboot mode, use the Volume buttons to select "Recovery Mode" and press Power.
2. In recovery, use the Volume buttons to select "Wipe data/factory reset" and confirm with
the Power button.

General Tips:

● Ensure you back up data before performing a factory reset.


● Factory resets and bootloader unlocking can wipe all data from your device and may
void warranties in some cases.
● Fastboot/Download/Recovery modes can vary by device model even within the same
brand. If these combinations don't work, refer to the official documentation or specific
guides for your device model.
