VJ (with full of energy) : Dead of The Night Call *with sound effects* Title pa lang nakakaintriga
na. So, let me introduce the characters: starting with our Main Character Loralie, the book
enthusiast and a writer; Azrael, the academic; Jianne the otaku ; Caleb the singer; Artemis the
cousin; Louisse the jolly; and Mira the new member! Ano pang iniintay niyo? Let's get it!

Jianne: Oh i'm sorry naman Louisse. Didn't notice na na unmute pala *giggles*

Loralie: Can you stop that muna? join us.

Jianne: I can't Loralie. Kakaupload lang nung bagong episode nung pinapanood kong anime, I
can't skip this! Omg I literally waited 1 week for this! *with background noise coming from an
anime*

Artemis: New episode? How many episodes do that have? I think last year mo pa sinimulan
yan a? di ba yan natatapos? di ka nagsasawa sa mukha nila?

Jianne: Why would I? Mas nasasawa pa ako sayo sa palaging pagbisita mo sakin dito sa
bahay.

Mira: You guys know each other? I mean in person?

Louisse: Oh, Mira you're just new here right? Well Artemis and Jianne are cousins, so yeah
they knew each other.

Mira: Aside from them meron pa sa inyong magkakakilala in person?

Loralie: I guess wala na? We don't even know each other's last name.

Mira: why?

Loralie: wala lang, for privacy? I mean the purpose of this telegroup is para lang may
mapagsabihan tayo ng hinaing sa buhay right? We just decided na wag na lang alamin ang
surname ng isa't isa since sabi nga nila mas better na makipag kwentuhan ng mga hinanakit sa
mga di mo pa gano nakilala para walang judgement and walang mangbabackstab sayo di ba?
At Least if I did spill something here about certain someone or something walang makakalabas
na issue kasi di niyo naman ako kilala personally.

Mira: I discovered this telegroup through an ad sa isang news paper that my dad is reading and
I've got interested. Kayo how did you find this one? It's amazing right? You'll just dial the
number na nakasulat at exact 11:11 pm then ididirect ka na sa isang group call kung saan dun
ka na lagi macoconnect once you dial it again.

Azrael: Nadiscover mo to sa isang ad? Didn't know na this telegroup is on the news
advertisement. Even my classmates who's always updated on whatever's going on and 24/ 7 on
his phone didn't know this line existed.

Loralie: Hmm to answer your question, I am a book enthusiast and one time pumunta ako sa
isang public library to find a new book to read then I saw a calling card on the shelf. I got curious
so I dialed it, then it led me here.

Caleb (in disbelief) : What a reason! You seriously just dialed a number na napulot mo lang?

Loralie (sounds enthusiastic) : Sa mga nabasa ko kasing romance books, ganon nagkakatagpo
yung mga bida, then they’ll meet in person, and live happily ever after! *giggles*

Louisse: Whatever. In my case I forgot kung paano ako napadpad dito. (phone ringing from the
background) Ay someone's trying to call me. I'll just answer this. Goodbye everyone

Artemis: Ako, inaya lang ako ni Jianne e, ewan ko kung paano yan napunta rito.

Caleb: speaking of Jianne, where is she? I think kanina pa siya na tahimik.

Azrael: Di ka pa nasanay Caleb, Maybe she's too focus on her anim-

(suddenly the line got cut off) *Cut off sound*

Narration by Loralie (with keyboard tapping sf) : To My Story That Never Ends

It's me, Loralie, your author. It's been a while since the last time I wrote here. 12 months ago, I
joined a group call called telegroup and you know what? I finally met someone na magbibigay
inspirasyon para tapusin ko na 'tong kwentong' to na hindi ko matapos tapos because my life is
so dull that I can't even find a good reason to finish this story. Every night at 11:11 pm, dinadial
ko ang line na eleven elevens para maka connect sa telegroup kung saan ako napadpad at
nakilala at mga miyembro nito. We always laugh, sing, share each others secret, cry together
and many more. Sa pagsapit naman ng alas dose ng hating gabi kusang napuputol ang line
hudyat na tapos na ang usapan at maaaring bumalik na lang kinabukasan ng 11:11 pm. That's
been my evening routine for the past months. I'm so happy with my new found friends.... I really
felt comfortable with them. Everything's going well or so we thought....

*phone tapping sound* *ringing sound* *click sound*

Jianne (cheerfully) : Minasan, konbanwa~

Artemis : Helloooooo

Azrael: Sup everyone, Azrael here

Caleb: yo

Loralie : It's me Loralie!

Jianne: Are you guys not wondering why Louisse is not joining us lately?

Loralie: Come to think of it, it's been a week since she last joined right?

Artemis: palagi siyang present and siya yung isa sa pinaka maingay satin so without her here...
it's kinda weird

Jianne: Btw guys have you seen the latest episode of mha? Inulit ulit ko talaga yung dabi
dance. It's so addicting. His VA omg perfect!

Loralie: uhh, can't relate. Not interested.

Jianne: Yeah because the only thing you're interested in is your books... and Azrael.

Azrael: don't involve me in there.

Caleb: Ouch rejected.

(everyone tease Loralie and Azrael) *giggles and laugh from the characters*

Jianne: Aside from Louisse na naging members 7 months ago. 4 consecutive days na din na
hindi nagpaparamdam si Mira, the newest member.

Loralie: Ako lang ba ang nakakapansin? But paunti nang paunti na lang ang members dito? I
remembered 12 months ago when I joined here. We have 12 members who's always active not
until 2 months ago simula nung di na nagparamdam si Zari, sinundan naman ni Michael and the
others... now we're down to 7 members including Jianne and Mira. But if hindi na talaga sila
magpaparamdam magiging 5 members na lang tayo.

Artemis: Naging member kami ni Jianne 8 months ago and ngayong month lang talaga tayo
nalalagasan ng member. Hoping na wag na kayo umalis pleasee.

Loralie: promise I won't.

Jianne: Me toooo!

Caleb: Of course I won't leave.

Azrael: Same for everyone

Loralie: Yieee so forever na tayo?

Azrael: So nosy.

*giggles from everyone*

*Giggles was interrupted by a ring from Artemis line*

Artemis: a phone call at this hour? from an unknown number?

Loralie: What's wrong?

Artemis: nothing, someone's just trying to contact me. This might be an emergency so I better
answer it.

Jianne: Maybe a scammer? Or a stalker? Or an obsessed guy? Or worse a murderer? Don’t

answer it.

Azrael: Here we go again with here brain clouded by an anime

Caleb: kantahan ko na lang kayo *starts strumming on his guitar and then the songs starts*
(fast forward) *music fading after 3-6 seconds * *cut off sound effects*

* 3 second silence *

*phone tapping sound* *dial sound* *click*

Loralie: it's me Loralie!

Caleb: Sup

Azrael: Just the three of us again?

Loralie: I'm not saying you guys are boring but it really hits different when the other is present.

Caleb (In a sad tone): Everyone's suddenly disappearing.

Loralie: Artemis and Jianne have been absent for 4 days. You know naman na 4 consecutive
absences means you can't come back here right?

Azrael: I didn't really expect them to disappear at the same time.

Caleb: In the first place, I didn't really expect them to disappear at all. I mean they made a
promi---- (someone cut him off)

Jianne (different from her usually cheerful voice) : Yes we made a promise. And Artemis didn't
mean to disappear on us. More like she was eliminated.

Loralie: You're here the whole time?

Caleb: Uh! It's really hard if hindi natin nakikita ang mga nag jojoin sa call *sighed*
Azrael: What do you mean by eliminated, Jianne?

Jianne: Eliminated...from this world. (more like a whisper) Someone murdered her.

Loralie (on the verge of crying) : (gasp) No way

Azrael (whisper in a sad tone) : She's gone....

Caleb: I swear if you're only pranking us

Jianne:(shouts) I'm not pranking you guys! (low tone/whisper) And I think I figured something....

Loralie: What is it?

Jianne: the culprit is here on the call

Caleb: impossible!

Azrael (confused tone) : I didn't get it. You mean the culprit is just listening to our convos or isa
siya sa atin?

Jianne: the latter.

Loralie (worried tone) : How can you be so sure? Did Artemis told you before she.... you know

Jianne: Yes. She left me 11 messages--- no. I mean... clues.

Azrael: What does it say?

Jianne: 1st message, "the caller eliminates the receiver" . The next 9 messages are just single
letters but it makes a word. (letter by letter) T. E. L. E. G. R. O. U. P. the 10th says "One of us".
The last one says that the other members did not disappear, they were eliminated too.

Caleb: I-I can't believe it. So what you're trying to say is Louisse... , Mira... , Zari... and the
others were.......(gasp at his realization) (unable to finish his sentence) *sobs*

*Loralie is crying too on the background*

Azrael (stuttering ) : D-did you already tell the authority?

Jianne: No.... her phone's missing plus I want to confirm something first.

Loralie: I don't really want to say this but this feels like we're on a story. There's no way it's
happening in real life *cries*

Azrael: Who is it? (strong voice)

Jianne: I've been silently listening to your convos but still..... I can't tell who it is! I trust you all!

Caleb: P-pero paano nalalaman ng culprit ang location natin? D-does this mean that there's a
chance we're going to be the next victim?
Loralie: Azrael, he's serious most of the time and too busy on his studies. Aminado siya na
kahit nasa call siya, he's still bothered by his school tasks. Me, I am a book enthusiast and a
writer. I spend most of my time thinking for a new concept for a new story. Caleb, he's a
raketero. Has a lot of raket. Most of the time, he's busy sa pag parapractice para sa singing
contests. Artemis, an otaku. She loves watching animes and most of it is about kil--- (was
cutoff)

Caleb: it's artemis

Azrael (warning tone) : Caleb!

Loralie: Caleb, that's not what I meant. I am just trying to say that we're all busy on our own
lives. Doesn't mean na she loves gore stuff ay siya na agad ang culprit!

Jianne (find Caleb's accusations ridiculous) : Alam mo Caleb, sa mga napapanood kong anime,
the first one who points their finger at someone is usually the culprit.

Caleb: Wow! I didn't even know your addresses. Di ba't ikaw lang naman ang nakakakilala kay
Artemis personally? Maybe you have your personal issues with her and ginagamit mo lang yung
yung pagkakataong 'to kung kailan nagsisialisan ang ibang members dito para makabuo ng
scenario to divert the blame at someone.

Azrael: Caleb stop that!

Loralie: guy's hindi ito ang tamang oras para mag bintang..... *sobs* I- I' m afraid that I'm going
to be the next victim...

Azrael (soft voice) : Loralie.... we're going to find the culprit bago may mawala na naman sa
atin. I promise...

*ring from Jianne's line*

Loralie (whisper) (shaking voice) : "The caller eliminates the receiver." T-that's it.

Caleb: The night before Zari stopped joining, she received a call. I think that goes for the others
too.

Jianne (panicking) : I-it's calling me! I don't want to answer it! I don't wanna be the next victim
*still ringing*

*loud knock and ring from Jianne's line* *Jianne panicking*

Loralie (almost unable to speak) : Jianne... Jianne what's happening?

Caleb (almost whisper) : You..... you're not acting, are you?

Azrael: Caleb! stop that. Jianne's already in danger! JIanne can you tell us who’s in there?

Jianne: p-please noooo *still ringing and there's still knocking*.

Jianne: I can't see and hear the culprit clearly. It’s like may sinasabi siya. N-nasa labas siya ng
bintan-----
(the call suddenly cutoff)

-COMMERCIAL -

DJ (cheerfully): Wow wow that was intense! VJ ____ right here. Commercial muna mga binibini
at Ginoo.

So sino sa tingin niyo ang culprit? Hmm is it Caleb who pointed his finger first? Or Jianne who
loves to watch gore movies? Or Loralie the book reader and writer? Or pede din naman si
Azrael, the achiever? Or baka naman wala talaga sa kanila? Pano kung old member lang pala
na nakikinig lang kagaya ng ginawa ni Jianne? Hmm Anyway, hindi na natin patatagalin pa.

(On Jianne's side)

Jianne (in low voice): The telegroup’s line got cut off . It's 12 am already.... *still ringing*

*pick up sound**the ringing stop**c-click*

Unknown (with voice changer) (on the other line) : It's already 12 am. I have enough rest after
Artemis elimination. It's time to eliminate again.

Jianne (nervous) : Who are you?

Unknown: open the window to see for yourself.

Jianne: Why are you doing this?

Unknown: You don't want to open it? Fine, I'll break it for you *breaking glass effects* *Jianne
shouts*

Unknown: *foot steps* Oooh, the security isn't that great, huh? You alone here?

Jianne: *gasp* you... are... *footsteps nearing*

Unknown: uh-huh.

*stabbing sounds*

Jianne: Ack!

Unknown: Sayonara.... Jianne. *footsteps going away*

It's Me Loralie. Again. The End is near, the events too confusing for the members. Lahat
biglaan. Starting from Zari's disappearance, followed by the others and then Artemis clues.
Jianne's Revelation. Kaliwa't kanang akusasyon. And Jianne's disappearance. We're now down
to three members....... *keyboard tapping stops* *short silence*

Unknown: *Sighs* One year. Tomorrow is the exact one year. I should finish this right now or
else they will find out.

Caleb: I still can't believe she's gone.

Loralie: Caleb will you please stop! Ni hindi mo pa nga alam ang tunay na nangyari kay Jianne.

Caleb: Yeah, maaring buhay pa siya. Maybe she's here listening. Devising a plan on how to
eliminate us all.

Azrael: Caleb. Hanggang kailan matitigil ang pagbibintang mong yan?

Caleb: So are you saying that it's not Jianne? Then maybe it's you, the Governor's son.

*gasp from Azrael and Loralie*

Loralie: How did you....

Caleb: Simple. I spent all of my prize in singing contests just to track you two after Jianne
disappeared , MoonlightPen.

Loralie: T-that's my Pseudonym.

Azrael: MoonlightPen…..

Caleb: So which one of you, huh?

*cut off*

Unknown: *footsteps half-running*

It's just 11:20 but I have to act fast as I have to eliminate 2 members before the clock strikes

Unknown: Still have the guts to answer the call after everything that happened? You're brave
Azrael: And you're a coward for using a voice changer in the call. What's your
intention…..Caleb (worried tone)

Unknown: Why don't you open your window so that we can talk better. The security's too tight, I
can't sneak in using the front door.

*window opening sound effects*

Azrael (shocked) : *gasp* *phone dropped at the floor* It's yo-

Unknown: *chuckles* It's me--

Loralie: Loralie.

Azrael: MoonlightPen. The best selling author of this town. Your stories-- does that mean.....

Loralie: Unlike the others. I felt like you deserve to hear my reasons, especially that you're the
last man standing?

Azrael: What did you do to Caleb?! *footsteps carefully walking away*

Loralie: Oh, I already eliminated him. He really has a nice voice,huh? His begging scream is
like music to my ear. By the way, did you really suspect Caleb? Or maybe you just didn't expect
me to be the culprit because you already fell in love with me. *chuckles*

Azrael: You're crazy! I trusted You. W-why does it have to be you?

Loralie: We still have time before the clock strikes 12 so let me explain. I am MoonlightPen. The
best selling and the most famous author of the town. Yes, all of my stories are connected to the
incidents happening in this town. People thought that my stories are based on those. My stories
are not the results of those incidents, those incidents are the results of my story.Hindi ka ba
nagtataka kung bakit alam ko ang lokasyon niyong lahat? It’s because I’m the reason why you
guys are in the telegroup in the first place. Don’t you really think having a random calling card
on your desk is weird? Of course lahat ng yon sinadya. Random advertisements on the
newspaper, random calling cards on your desk, on Jianne’s bag, a number of someone on
Caleb’s certificate. Lahat yun planado and tomorrow's the anniversary of the telegroup *creepy
laugh*. I don't really have the plan to eliminate you too as much as I don’t want to reveal my
Pseudonym. It's just that Caleb ruined everything!

Azrael: Hindi ko maintindihan....

Loralie: Alam kong naiintindihan mo, by the way you can drop the act now. You are not really
surprised when you see me aren’t you? The moment Caleb revealed that I am MoonlightPen
alam kong alam mo na. MoonlightPen is your detective brother’s main suspect about the
incidents happening in this town right? Dahil sa mga stories ko na connected sa lahat
nangyayari. Caleb should just shut his mouth. Because revealing my pen name as an author is
not on my plan. MoonlightPen should just remain anonymous.

Azrael: So that explains why kung bakit sinunod mo si Jianne after niyang malaman na isa sa
miyembro ang culprit?
Loralie: No, sinadya ko yon dahil iyon talaga ang nasa plano ko. The reason why I change my
mind about keeping you alive when Caleb revealed that I am MoonlightPen is because no one
should mess with the author’s plot and I am kinda scared you’ll tell you brother *short chuckles*
but based on our situation right now, you’re not yet telling anyone. I wonder why, do you really
fall in love with me? You guys are actually just a part of my story and no one should interfere. I
am the one who messaged Jianne about the clues using Artemis ' phone. I am actually thankful
for her kasi mabilis niyang nagets ang lahat ng clues na binigay ko. I did it to cause confusion. A
story is nothing without conflict right? And we're now reaching to its end. This is not the ending I
wanted! That Caleb, he ruined everything! My plan was to eliminate all of them except you.

Azrael: Why do you want to spare me?

Loralie(enthusiastic) : To start a love story! Isn't that a good idea? A mystery-thriller genre with
a touch of a love story!

Azrael: A scripted love story? That's pointless.

Loralie: For me it's not! I am a writer and I will do what it takes to create a story with a good
plot!

Azrael: You can create one without doing all of this! You're sick!

Loralie: My.. my.. Azrael you don't understand. *keyboard tapping effects* (calm voice) A good
writer creates their own unique ideas, a better one connects their ideas to reality. And you know
what makes the best writer? They make their ideas into reality. *stabbing sounds*

Azrael might not have reported me to his brother. I know someday that he will….if I spare him.
This may not be the happy ending I am looking for, I am still satisfied as I close and open a new
