Home Sweet Home
Home Sweet Home
In the center of the vast area of the pacific’s sea sailed a medium sized
boat owned by the two twins James and Katherine. They had made a plan
the day before of going to a journey to Brazil for a vacation together. The
twins had an unbreakable bond and relationship, and they wanted to
make it stronger by going to an exotic and unique island near Brazil to
spend some time together. But God had something else planned in their
fate. They were about to face a horrible experience which was to change
their lives.
A violent storm struck near the ship, blowing fierce winds enough to make
a person fly. The waves were huge and beastly which made the brand new
white motor boat to overturn and take with it, its possessions, like food. In
the storm, the boat was completely shattered into pieces, separating the
two twins. Katherine was unconscious and she drifted along the expanse
of sea. She found herself in a lush green, remote island which was not
inhabited as no one was there. Katherine after waking her senses back
made the decision to discover every bit of the small island. The scent of
the island was thick and Katherine went to see what the island had to offer
to her for survival.
On the other hand, poor James was bruised and was rolling on a raft
helplessly. He shed tears and sobbed all night on the thought of his
beloved sister as she was the only relation he had left. Was she alive or
dead?. 1 week had passed and James was battling hunger and thirst.
That’s when his luck changed. A cruise ship passed but it had not seen
James. He waved an aluminum foil and used the sun with it to make a flare
signal. The pilot saw the light and directly brought the ship to the raft to
rescue James.
The crew welcomed James onboard and took him with them and dropped
him off to Brazil to see if his sister was still alive. Upon reaching there he
asked the authorities to make a campaign of finding his sister. Days turned
into months and months turned into a year.
Katherine had been on the island for ages and knew its every bits and
areas. She did not forget her brother even a single day and kept praying to
God. One day, a vessel carrying James and the crew visited there
hundredth island and as they drew closer, James couldn’t believe as he
saw the figure of her sister on the island’s shore.
Tears of joy flowed from both of the twins as they met. Their hearts
flowed with gratitude and relief and they together rejoiced the miracle of
their reunion. They returned home.
