Research Gap
• Focuses mainly on technical aspects, lacking integration with socio-economic, policy, and
interdisciplinary perspectives.
• Papers are often preliminary, lacking comprehensive peer review and detailed analysis.
• Provides broad coverage but lacks in-depth technical analysis and engineering solutions.

Problem Statement
11-11-2024 8
Need for the Project
• Growing Demand for Renewables
- Shift toward sustainable energy sources like wind and solar.
11-11-2024 9
5 whys
• Why do people seek power banks?
- Since charging ports are not available everywhere.
• Why is there a lack of charging ports?
- Inaccessibility of electricity in certain places.
• Why does electricity lack in those areas?
- Requires large transformers in turn increasing carbon foot print.
• Why carbon footprint is increased?
- The electricity used to charge devices generate greenhouse gas emissions.
• Why electricity produces greenhouse gas emissions?
- Electricity used to charge devices produces greenhouse gas emissions because it is
generated by burning fossil. These release carbon dioxide and nitrous oxide into the
atmosphere, which trap the sun's heat and contribute to the greenhouse effect.
Thus, we require a sustainable solution for this problem that mostly depends on renewable
energy.

Summary
• Many regions face challenges in accessing reliable electricity, especially in off-grid
areas and during power outages.
• This disrupts daily activities and makes it difficult to charge essential devices.
• With the growing use of portable electronics and the increasing need for sustainable
energy alternatives, there is a pressing demand for independent, eco-friendly, and
reliable power sources.
• To meet these needs, a solution that combines renewable energy sources like wind and
solar becomes crucial to ensure consistent, accessible power in remote and emergency
situations.
