JOB & SPECIFICATION SHEET FOR GRAPHIC DESIGN,
LEVEL-3
Occupation: Graphic Design
Job No: 02- Create a Visiting Card
The candidate will create a Visiting Card using Adobe illustrator
Software the completed output documents will submit to the accredited
assessor

You are supposed to create a Business Card (Back to Back) in


Illustrator according to the instruction below:
Procedure
1. Illustrator Art board: W- 3.5 in & H- 2in, Color Mode:
CMYK, (Number of Art board:2) 2. Create a Rectangle W-
3.5in & H- 2in and Align with Art board-1. Fill the shape with
Yellow color.
3. Maintain Design Principle and Color theory appropriately.
4. Create a Polygon Shape (Radius: 1.15in, Sides: 6)
5. Select Delete Anchor Point tool & Delete one Anchor Point of
Polygon Shape (Left sides anchor point of the polygon shape)
& Align its Previous Rectangle Shape. (Horizontal Align Left &
Vertical Align Center). Fill the shape with green color.
6. Create another Polygon shape (Radius: 0.8in, Sides: 6) & Place it
as a suitable location in front of the Rectangle Shape. Fill the
shape with Red color.
7. Create a Logo as shown in the sample & Place it in front of the
new Polygon Shape.

8. Create Text "Mr. Abdur Rahim (Font: Arial, Style: Bold, Size:
13), & Graphic Designer (Font: Arial, Style: Bold, Size: 9)" &
Place it suitable location in the Background.
9. Create another Text with icon as shown in the sample (Font:
Arial, Style: Bold, Size: 10, Leading 15) & Place it as a suitable
location in the background.

o Graphic Design
o Compose
o Offset Print o Digital Print

10. Select entire documents and group them.


11. Copy the Entire Background (Without Text) & Place it another
Art board (Art board: 2). Reflect the new Background (Axis:
Vertical, Angle: 900)
12. Enable Symbol Panel & open Symbol Library Choose Mobile
Panel (Sub Panel) & Insert 3 Icons (Office, Mobile, Web).
13. Create Text "Sher-E-Bangla Nagar, Agargaon, Dhaka-1207"
(Font: Arial, Style: Regular, Size: 9) & Set it right side the office
Icon. Create Text "+88 01737 000000 (Font: Arial, Style:
Regular, Size: 9) & Set it right side the Mobile Icon. Create Text
www.digitalpress.com (Font: Arial, Style: Regular, Size: 9) & Set
it right side the Web Icon. (Place Entire Icon with text in the
suitable location in the background.)
14. Save the Document in "ai" and "jpg" format.
