Setting up Zoom

1. Click on your picture in the upper right part of the screen (see
img 1a)
2. Click on “Settings” (see img 2a)
3. On the Setting screen click on the Audio Tab (see img 3a)
4. Check that your Microphone is correctly selected
5. In Audio Profile click on “Zoom background noise removal”
and click on Low (see img 5a)
6. In Audio Profile click on “Original Sound for musicians” (see
img 6/7/8a)
7. Check “High fidelity music mode” (see img 6/7/8a)
8. Uncheck “Echo cancellation” (see img 6/7/8a)
9. Go to the Recording Tab (see img 9a)
10. Check “Record a separate audiofile of each participant”
(see img 10a)
11. Close the Settings. Zoom is now ready to be recorded in
High Definition, for the next step you have to start the
Call/Interview (see img 11a)
12. Once the Call start go to the upper left part of the screen
and click in the grey box next to the GREEN SHIELD that says,
“Original Sound for Musicians: Off”, it should change to
Original Sound for Musicians: On”, and you should receive a
notification like the image 11c (see img 12a -12b - 12c)
(IMPORTANT: Step 11 must be done every time at the beginning
of each call)
