PROJECT #1
Project Title: ENEL

Description:
Enel S.p.A. is an Italian multinational manufacturer and distributor of electricity and gas. Enel was first
established as a public body at the end of 1962, and then transformed into a limited company in 1992. In
1999, following the liberalisation of the electricity market in Italy, Enel was privatised. The Italian state,
through the Ministry of Economy and Finance, is the main shareholder, with 23.6% of the share capital as of
1 April 2016.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


 Automated Continuous Integration builds, nightly builds, deployments, and unit tests across multiple
different environments (DEV, QA, Training, Production) each constituting different types of servers (DB,
App, Web) and different number of servers of each type (for load balancing and such) using VSTS Build,
Power Shell, MS Build and MS Deploy.
 As an SRE, responsible for performing Ops work as well as understanding development needs and
support accordingly by having continuous coordination with Development and R&D teams.
 Experience in Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Service Bus,
Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Container Registry.
 As a member of the Release Engineering group, redefined processes and implemented tools for
software builds, patch creation, source control, and release tracking and reporting.
 Worked closely with QA Teams, Business Teams, and DBA team and Product Operations teams to
identify QA and UAT cycle release schedules for non-prod and prod environments.
 Identified and logged defects in VSTS and interacted with developers to prioritize the issues.
 Ownership of Azure SQL server DB deployment & managed continuous integration & continuous

Project Title: Philips
Description:
Koninklijke Philips N.V. (lit. 'Royal Philips'), commonly shortened to Philips, is a
Dutch multinational conglomerate corporation that was founded in Eindhoven in 1891. Since 1997, its
world headquarters have been situated in Amsterdam, though the Benelux headquarters is still in
Eindhoven. Philips was once one of the largest consumer electronics companies in the world but later
focused on health technology, having divested its other divisions.

The company was founded in 1891 by Gerard Philips and his father Frederik, with their first products
being light bulbs. Philips employs around 80,000 people across 100 countries. The company gained its royal
honorary title in 1998 and dropped "Electronics" from its name in 2013, due to its refocusing on healthcare
technology.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


 Worked on Microsoft Azure (Public) Cloud to provide IaaS support to clients. Created Virtual Machines
through Power Shell Script and Azure Portal.
 Manage and Create Storage Account and Affinity Group in Azure Portal.
 Captured images of VM, and attached disks to VMs.
 Manage and create Virtual Networks and End Points in Azure Portal.
 Deploying VM & Storage, Network, and Affinity Group through PowerShell Script.
 As an SRE, responsible for performing Ops work as well as understanding development needs and
support accordingly by having continuous coordination with Development and R&D teams.
 We deployed Azure IaaS VM and Cloud services (PaaS role instances) into secure VNets and subnets.
 Designed VNets and subscriptions to confirm Azure Network Limits.
 Provided high availability for IaaS VMs and PaaS role instances for access from other services in the
VNet with Azure Internal Load Balancer.
 Configured VNETs and subnets as per the project requirement Implemented high availability with both
Azure Classic and ARM deployment models.
 Designed Network Security Groups (NSGs) to control inbound and outbound access to network
interfaces (NICs), VMs, and subnets.
 Deploying local database into Azure SQL server database.
 Configured private and public facing Azure load balancers etc. Created Azure SQL database, and
performed monitoring and restoring of Azure SQL database.
