User Guide for PICO Business

Suite_3.2.5__for Spain​
❗ Key updates in version 3.2.5​
1. Supports deploying 'Sync' and 'Kiosk Mode' solutions in LAN​

6. Once Business suite is set to launcher, pressing the Home button will get back to the
home page of Business suite, and Dock will set to hidden by default.​

PICO Business Suite is PICO's proprietary software designed to provide tailored solutions for
businesses, giving you a flexible and innovative experience with PICO VR products
accommodating your needs.​
✅ Overview​
This document is the user guide for PICO Business Suite. It explains how to use this
software and answers some FAQs.​
Chapter 1 contains essential information, so be sure to read it carefully and
troubleshoot issues that may be caused by software versions.​
For Chapter 2 to Chapter 5, you can focus on parts relevant to the solutions you have
chosen.​

1. Hardware and software requirements​


1.1 Hardware​
This version of PICO Business Suite is applicable to the PICO hardware as shown in the
following table. You can choose VR devices according to your specific needs.​

1.2 Software​
1.2.1 Installation on the PC​
❗ Please ensure that 3.2.3 is installed on your PC (only Windows 10 is supported).​
Please ensure that the Firewall on the PC is disabled​
Please ensure that the PC has turned off any anti-virus software;​
1. Download the PC installation package: ​

2. Click the installation package to display the dialog box > Select the target language > Install
RTC services as needed > Select the installation location > Select whether to create a shortcut
icon as needed > Click "Install".​
a. We recommend that you select "Install local media server".​

3. After the installation is completed, click the PICO Business Suite icon on the PC desktop to
open the app.​
1.2.2 Login the Business suite on PC ​
1. Register and certify an enterprise account. As for details, pls refer to
https://business.picoxr.com/gb/doc​
2. Login the Business suite on PC with an enterprise account.​
1.2.3 Version requirements for the VR device​
❗ Please make sure that the device's PUI version and the PICO Business Suite version
are correct according to your device type.​
a. PUI Requirements​

b. Business Suite version requirements in HMD​


Ensure that the Business suite on the VR device meets the following requirements. If yes,
please click the download link and install it manually: Copy the installation package to the
device, install it under File Manager > APKs.​
To view the client version of PICO Business suite: Click the time icon on the top of
Business suite five times to activate the "more" panel, and confirm the version of
Business suite on the panel:​

c. Make sure the 'Allow Control by Control Terminal' is switched on in the Business
Suite.​
Check the version of Business Suite client on the headset, by clicking the time icon 5
times at the top of the launcher of Business Suite, which will be shown in the popup
panel, and switch on 'Allow Control by Control Terminal'.​

2.2 Device status​


• Offline - The device is turned off or sleeping.
• Free - The device is not under control.​

3. Guide for Sync solutions​


3.1 Preparation​
❗ Before you use syncing solutions, prepare the necessary hardware and software
environment.​
After setting up the environment, install and check the software of the PC and VR
devices according to Section 1 above. Complete Adding Devices according to Section
2.1.​

3.1.1 Hardware requirements​

3.1.2 Requirements for streaming media server and supported devices​


Make sure to select "Install local media server" when you install PICO Business Suite on the PC.​
1. Go to File Explorer, right click This PC , and click Manage in the prompt menu;​

2. Select Service , and find ByteRTC Service Assistant in the right window, and run
it by clicking Start ,​
3. Final status should be the same as the picture below:​
4. If not was ByteRTC Service Assistant found, kindly come back to 1.3.1 PC/Laptop
to reinstall the Business Suite on PC/Laptop and make sure select 'install a local media
server' ;​
3.1.3 Hardware setup​
After you have prepared the preceding devices and set up your router, you need to​

2. Connect the VR all-in-ones to the router wirelessly.​
Note: Set all out-of-scope Wi-Fi networks on the PC and the head mounted display (HMD) to "do

3.2 Add a Sync solution​

3.3 Deploy a Sync solution​


After adding solutions, select the deployment mode according to your current network
environment:​
Offline Deployment:​
Offline deployment is recommended in the following scenarios:​
1. When the solution is deployed for the first time, the solution content and the number of
devices are large.​
2. The overall file size of Sync solution is greater than 10G.​
3.When updating the Sync solution, there are a lot of content modifications.​
Online Deployment:​
Online deployment is recommended in the following scenarios​
1. When the solution is deployed for the first time, the solution content and the number of
devices are small.​
2. The overall file size of Sync solution is smaller than 10G.​
3. When updating the Sync solution, only a small amount of content is added,
subtracted/modified.​

3.4.1 Uncontrolled mode​


In uncontrolled mode, VR users can experience any configured Sync content on the HMD side.​
3.4.2 Controlled mode​
You can switch the device to controlled mode by using the 'Broadcast to Device'.​
In the controlled mode, the device has no control over the content. PICO Business Suite for PC
can control the device and play VR content synchronously.​

4. Guide for Streaming solutions​


4.1 Preparation​
❗ Before using the Streaming solution, please prepare the hardware devices and set up
the environment according to Section 4.1.​
After setting up the environment, install and check the software of the PC and VR
devices according to Section 1 above. Complete Adding Devices according to Section
2.1.​

4.1.1 Streaming media server​


Make sure to select "Install local media server" when you install PICO Business Suite on the PC.
Kindly go to Chapter 3.1.2 for details.​
4.1.2 Hardware configuration for live streaming solutions​

6. Apply Business Suite in WAN​


❗ Business Suite can be used in WAN and LAN.​
In WAN, the device can be remotely controlled.​

6.1 LAN Configuration​


For the usage in LAN environment, please refer to the method in section 1-5.​
6.2 WAN Configuration​
If Business Suite is used in WAN, configure it first. After the configuration is complete, you can
use each solution by referring to Section 2-5.​
1. First, ask your Technical project manager to apply for a "Business ID" for testing.​
2. In Business Suite, enable WAN Mode on the PC and device, and enter the same Business ID.​
a. Enter the Buiness ID on the device.​

3. Turn on 'WAN Mode'​
4. Open the Business ID panel and enter the Business ID​

b. Type in Business ID and click Confirm.​
c. If the message in red displays "WAN connected" ,
the Business ID is successfully input. Click the
"Cancel" button, and the popup disappears​
5. Restart your headset;​

WAN mode​
4. Open the Business ID panel and enter the Business

c. If the message "Public network connection
succeeded" is displayed, the customer ID is
successfully entered.​
5. Reboot Business Suite;​
3. Enter the same Business ID on the PC and headset. On the 'Device' interface on the PC side,
add a device. In this way, functions such as device management, 'Sync', and 'Streaming' can
be realized in a WAN.​
Notice:​
a. Solution deployment module: In WAN mode, the online deployment is not supported.​

7. FAQ:​
Q1:How does the Streaming solution support "VR live streaming"?​
A1: After you connect your proprietary software (SteamVR apps or games) to the
PBXRPanoramaPlugin SDK through an adapter, you can select the adapted content in the
sharing window. For the live streaming mode, you can select "VR Mode" for panoramic one-for-
all live streaming.​
