Caution on use
!
●Operate this product under the instruction of physicians, medical staffs, or emergency
life saving technicians.
●This equipment is for emergency measure only. At the same time, call an ambulance.
●Check the remaining gas volume in the cylinder before use. And after use, replace it
with a fully charged cylinder.
●Be sure to open the cylinder valve slowly. Open it fully once, and back it to about half
opened position to use.
Rapid opening can cause ignition, explosions due to adiabatic compression.
●If oxygen smells, shut the valve and stop using the equipment, and take adequate
measures and replace the cylinder.
There is fear of having been burned the resin sheet in the cylinder valve or the O-ring in the pressure
gauge.
●Always check not to fold the connection tubes of inhalation mask and the like on use.
●Do not add the extension tube to the mask tube and the like. Doing so can cause the
flow rate error due to line resistance.
●Never use the flow rate set at the middle range between graduations of the control dial.
The gas flows, but the accuracy is not sure.
●Do not use the flush button in the upper part of the respirator for the victim who is
thought is damaged in the lungs.
●When use the mouth gag, tongue depressor and tongue forceps, be careful not to hurt
the oral cavity.
●Choose the airway size according to the victim’s body size and age.
●When inserting the airway in the mouth, take care that the victim does not vomit nor
has a fit of pharynx due to the tongue fall and blockade of airway by pharynx pressure.
If he nauseates or vomits, do not force to insert the airway.
●If the victim nauseates or vomits or he is going to push out the airway with his tongue,
take it out at once.
●Be sure to shut the cylinder valve, and let the remaining gas flow out from the pressure
regulator. The pressure gauge has a load, which can cause a trouble.
●Sterilize or disinfect the components and accessories if necessary, and prevent various
germs from propagating and infecting for the next use.
●Ventilation is required in the small place and airtight room, as the density of oxygen
becomes high.
●It is necessary to master how to use this equipment in emergency case by reading
through and check each part daily.
●Do not use it after giving it the impact like falls by mistake, but request the
manufacturing seller to check it.
●Be sure to inspect and maintain the unit every 3 months. And perform the inspection
by makers every 2 years.
-3-
"#$
●Do not use the oxygen cylinder charged more than 14.7MPa.
●Use this equipment for right purposes only and do not use for any other purposes.
The aspirator shall be used for suction only. Never use it for blood collection.
●Do not apply oils and each parts and connection of the body. And do not handle the
equipment with oily hands.
Doing so can fire.
●Do not use this product around inflammables and in the poisonous gas of the high
density.
There is a danger of explosion and bad affection for human body.
●Do not place and store this equipment under a direct sunshine, in any location with high
humidity and high temperature.
Do not leave this unit in narrow, airtight places such as in an ambulance under a burning sun.
Failure to do so can cause that the oxygen gas inflates so much in the cylinder, that the relief valve of
the gas regulator can work, and that the gas volume becomes small and results in trouble of the
equipment.
●Do not use the mouth gag, tongue depressor, tongue forceps and airways if they are
cracked, deformed, burred and stained.
●Suction catheter, vinyl mask and mouth gag are single use. They are not reusable.
-4-
Caution on use
'$
●Be careful of location of the equipment. Avoid the inclination, vibration, impact and the
like. (On transportation, too.)
●Do not place the equipment where the chemical is stored and gas generates.
●In connecting the oxygen cylinder with the regulator, do not connect it too tight.
As O ring is set, too much tightening is not required.
●he tongue depressor and tongue forceps should not be altered, such as bending, scraping
and stamping.
●Do not blockade the vent of aspirator. Doing so will stop suctioning.
●The respirator (resuscitator) of this product is designed for a child (whose weight is from
10kg to 40kg) and an adult (whose weight is over 40kg). Do not use it for a newborn baby
whose weight is under 10kg.
●In using the resuscitator head, the gas will leak from between the face and mask if the
mask does not cover the nose and mouth rightly, and it can works incorrectly.
●In using the resuscitator head, as the oxygen consumption is increasing so fast, use it
looking at the needle of the pressure gauge and checking the reminding gas volume.
●Always watch the patient if he turns pale on the lips or vomits. As the mask is transparent
and can be looked through.
●When stop the medical treatment for sometime, be sure to turn the oxygen cylinder valve
clockwise and stop the oxygen supply to save the oxygen consumption.
●Always watch the condition of the victim and the medical instrument.
●Whenever anything is wrong on the equipment or the victim, stop the equipment and
take adequate measures. When the equipment is found wrong, post sign “OUT OF
ORDER” conspicuously on the unit, and call a serviceman.
●For emergency, prepare the oxygen gas cylinder fully charged for the reserve.
