I. General Program Information:


Activity Title: ALEGRIA DISTRICT 5-DAY MID-YEAR PERFORMANCE REVIEW AND
EVALUATION (MPRE) AND IN-SERVICE TRAINING FOR TEACHERS OF THE
SCHOOL YEAR 2023-2024

Program Proponement

Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 022, s. 2023 entitled “School


Rationale of the Activity: Calendar and Activities for the School Year (SY) 2023-2024” and further
disseminated in Division Memorandum No. 13, s. 2024, shall conduct a “Five-
Day Mid-year Performance Review and Evaluation (MPRE) and School-based
In-Service Training (INSET) for Teachers on January 24 to 26 and 29 to 30,
2024. This is a 5-day Face-to-Face in-person activity for our teachers'
continued professional development.

It is emphasized that the first Two (2) days, January 24 and 25,
2024 (Wednesday and Thursday) shall be utilized to orient or evaluate the
school’s progress attained in the implementation of the educational
programs, projects, and activities (PPAs) as well as to review the performance
of teachers and the school staff to address concerns through a cooperative
effort. Furthermore, the last 3 days Friday, Monday and Tuesday (January 26,
29-30, 2024 shall be spent conducting the school-based In-Service Training for
Teachers (INSET) activities for the teachers' continuing professional
development and the preparation of their Instructional Materials (IMs).
Outputs that shall not be used for the next quarter’s teaching-learning
engagement for our learners shall be collected by the Technical Working
Group (TWG) or the school heads as the Modes of Verification (MOVs).

To ensure full implementation of the conduct of this MPRE and


INSET, teachers’ attendance shall be strictly monitored by the school using

the Bio-metric Attendance Machine in school and attendance sheet at the


other venues. The whole duration is expected to carry out the objectives of
this training program and rest assured that the responsibility in monitoring
attendance and output-making shall be monitored wholeheartedly by the
TWG and school heads.

Each school does not require its teachers for a registration fee;
thus, the whole duration of this training is free of charge. The meals and
snacks of teachers shall be charged against the school's Maintenance and
Other Operating Expenses (MOOE).

10. Development of Instructional Materials (IMs) ( Slide Deck)
11. Higher Order Thinking Skills Professional Learning Package (HOTS-PLP)
12. Implementation of Catch – up Fridays
End of Program Outputs:
A. INSET Component:
By the end of this MPRE and INSET, the participants would have
developed the following outputs:

 Evaluation Sheet
 Interventions to least learned skills
 Reflections on the different topics shared
 Action Plan for the use of contextualized digital learning
resources appropriate or intervention to the modality of every
school

 Upkept Professional and Personal Commitment as a Teacher
 Improved teaching-learning activities with digital learning and
