Devops

DevOps, a fusion of "development" and "operations," represents a


comprehensive approach integrating practices and tools to enhance an
organization's capability in delivering applications and services with
greater speed compared to traditional software development
methodologies. This heightened velocity not only facilitates prompt
delivery but also empowers organizations to serve their customers more
efficiently, positioning them for increased competitiveness in the market.

In essence, DevOps seeks to dismantle the barriers that traditionally exist


between isolated teams, namely development and operations. In
adopting the DevOps model, collaborative efforts between development
and operations teams extend throughout the entire software application
life cycle. This collaborative approach spans from initial development and
testing phases through deployment and into ongoing operational
maintenance. By fostering seamless coordination and communication
across these traditionally siloed functions, DevOps contributes to
streamlined processes, quicker releases, and ultimately, enhanced overall
organizational performance.
