ANTICIPATING MURDER WALKTHROUGH

Intro
You begin the game in your car. Talk to the bald man - he seems to want
something from you. Look at the brown paper bag on your dashboard.
Pick up the paper bag, and give it to the bald man. Now try and start
your car. The car blows up, and you end up in hospital.

Hospital
You wake up in hospital, but you seem to have lost your memory. Leave
your hospital room, and talk to the nurse about everything. She will give
you your belongings, but only if the doctor gives written permission first.

Look at desk, and notice the cup of pens on the left. Take a pen from
the desk. Now take medical chart from the right edge of the desk.
Look at the medical chart (in your inventory) to learn that your belongings
are in Locker 12. Use chart (in inventory) to see another sheet of paper
hidden below the top sheet. Read this sheet of paper to see that it is a
release form. Use your pen with the release form to add your name,
and then give it to the nurse. She thinks that the doctor has signed it,
and gives you all your belongings.

In your inventory, open your wallet to get two items. Look at your license
to learn your real name, and then look at the notepad sheet to get your
address. Now look at the business card to learn that you are a private
detective. Leave the hospital to get to the map screen. Click on your
apartment.

Your Apartment
Talk to Rose. She is your landlady, and she wants her rent money. It's
just a pity you don't have any money on you right now. Search under
your doormat to get a door key, and then use the door to enter your
apartment.

Enter your bedroom (door next to the window), and look at picture on the
wall. Take photo of woman from the nightstand. Look at the photo to get
the name 'Lauren'.

Walk through door on left, to enter the bathroom. Use the toilet twice, to
find a plastic bag. Open the plastic bag (in your inventory) to find some
money. Now leave the bathroom and leave the bedroom.
You are back in your living room. Enter door on the right to find yourself
in the kitchen, and pick up cell phone from the table. Look at cell phone
(in your inventory), and then use cell phone twice to redial the last number.
You call Rob Broek. Head left, back to your living room. Pick up Yellow
Pages from the seat to find Rob's address.

Leave your apartment, and talk to the landlady. Give her the money you
found in the bathroom, and she will tell you to meet your girlfriend at the
bar. Unfortunately, she is not exactly sure what the bar is called. Enter
your apartment again, and use the Yellow Pages to get an address for
Bailey's Pub. Now leave your apartment, and return to the map screen.

Rob's Office
Go to Rob's office, and talk to Rob about everything. Look at baby photo
in the wall, and try to take the baby photo. Rob will tell you that this is his
niece, Ashley. Look at sherry bottle hidden under the desk to realise
that Rob has a liking for Sherry. Leave the office.

Bailey's Pub
Go to Bailey's pub, and try to use the wooden door. Talk to the wooden
door, and then use wooden door again to enter the pub. Talk to Bailey
about everything. Pick up sherry bottle from the table to see that it is the
same brand that Rob drinks. Bailey lets you keep the sherry bottle.
Leave the pub.

Rob's Office
Return to Rob's office, and give sherry bottle to Rob. He gives you a
photo of his wife Jessica. Apparently, she is having an affair and Rob
wants proof of this affair. Talk to Rob again to get a cash advance.
Now leave the office.

Your Apartment
Go back to your apartment, and give the cash advance to Rose. She
will give you a letter from Lauren in return. Look at the letter, and then
enter your apartment. Pick up Yellow Pages to get an address for the
Photo Studios in Warren Street, and then leave your apartment. Head
down to map screen.
Photo Studios
Go to the photo studio, and talk with Brett about everything. Leave the
studio, and go to the map screen.

Your Apartment
Head back to your apartment. Talk to Rose again, and she will tell you
that there is a package in the mail for you. Search your mailbox to get
the package - don't worry about the explosion, as it will not harm you.
Now look at the package in your inventory, and then open it to get a DVD.

Enter your apartment, and use DVD with the T.V. You now have proof
that Jessica and Brett were having an affair. Leave your apartment,
and return to map screen.

Photo Studios
Go back to the photo studio, and talk to Brett about everything. He tells
you that Jessica is staying at the Tigerlilly Motel. Leave the photo studio.

Tigerlilly Motel
Go to the motel. There is an explosion, but you are not hurt. Leave the
motel, and then return to the motel immediately. Search the maid's cart
to see some room keys. Search the cart again to get the key for Room
13. Now open door on the left to enter Jessica's room.

Look at laptop on the desk. Use the laptop 3 times to discover that it is
password protected. You need to find the answers to 3 questions,
before you can get access to her emails. Leave the motel, and return to
map screen.

Rob's Office
Head for Rob's office, and talk to Rob. Ask him for Jessica's birth date,
but he will not tell you. Leave the office.

Photo Studios
Go to the photo studio, and talk to Brett. Ask him when Jessica's birth-
day is, and he tells you 25 August 1979. Leave the photo studio.

Bailey's Pub
Go to Bailey's pub, and enter the bar. Show photo of Jessica to Bailey,
and then ask about everything. He tells you that Jessica's favourite drink
is probably Rhine Riesling. Now leave the bar, and go to the map screen.

Rob's Office
Return to Rob's office, and talk to Rob. Ask about Jessica's nickname.
He doesn't know what her nickname is, but he mentions Jessica's cousin
Mary, who works at the hospital. Leave the office.

Hospital
Go back to the hospital, and talk to Mary. You learn that Jessica's nick-
name was 'Pumpkin'. You now have the answers for all 3 questions, so
you can access the laptop. Leave the hospital.

Tigerlilly Motel
Head back to the motel, and enter Jessica's room on the left. Use the
laptop twice (the screen, not the keyboard), but there is an error message.
Apparently, you have the wrong birth date. Leave the motel, and enter
the map screen.

Rob's Office
Go to Rob's office, and talk to Rob again. Ask about Jessica's birth date.
Rob tells you that she was born in 1971, not 1979. Leave the office.

Tigerlilly Motel
Go to the motel, and enter Jessica's room on the left. Use the laptop 3
times (the screen, not the keyboard) to get access to her emails. Read
the message from John. Jessica and John will return at this point, and
John will knock you unconscious.
Basement
You wake up in a basement, and Lauren is here as well. Ask about every-
thing. When Jessica and John have left, talk to Lauren about everything.

Look at toolbox, which is hidden between the washing machine and the
tumble dryer. Try to open the toolbox, but it is locked tight. Search
Lauren to get a hairpin from her, and then use hairpin on the toolbox to
get a large saw. Use saw on the ladder (stairs) to get some loose boards.
Now look at switch box on the left wall. Use switch box to turn the lights out,
and tell Lauren to shout for John. John will fall down, and fall unconscious.
Search him twice to get his cell phone. Try to use his cell phone, but it is
password locked. Use the cell phone twice more, to get a cell battery, and
then use that battery with your own cell phone. Now use your cell phone to
call the police.

Sit back and enjoy the ending.
