SYNOPSIS

INTRODUCTION
This “Voters Registration Management System” has been developed to override
the problems prevailing in the practicing manual system. It is a mobile ready
voters portal that brings the registration process straight to constitutents. Online
voters registration system provides a secured, customizable, accurate and
accessible voters registration interface that work seamlessly with the such as
authentication, removal of duplicate entries and in editing the existing voters in
formations. It streamline the administrative effort of election staff through this
robust platform that pulls, update and stores all voters details and poling location
data in a single system.

FEATURE
 User login: This allows only the registered and authorized users to login in
terms of security.

 BLO(Booth Level Officer),DO(Designated Officer) details: in this software


all details of ‘BLO’ and ‘DO’ is provided including their bank details for
transferring their payment directly into their account.

 Easy to manage: Fully customizable interface allows administrators to


make changes without any expert.

 Details correction: This system provide the authorized user to edit suitable
details, that voter wants . It saves the time and helps the user who needs
correction.
SOFTWARE USED:
FRONTEND – VISUAL STUDIO 2013(C#,.NET)

BACKEND – SQL Express 2012

HARDWARE REQUIREMENT:
Minimum- core i3 processor with 2GB RAM with 500GB ROM.

ADVANTAGES:

 This project has a login page which allows only the registered user to login
and thereby preventing unauthorized access.

 Usage of this application will greatly reduce time in case of-

1. Search the name in Electoral List.


2. Apply on line for new registration.
3. Apply online for corrections, if any.
4. User can view details of his Polling booth, Assembly Constituency, User can get the contact
details of Booth Level officer, Electoral Registration Officer and other Election officer.
5. Users can feed Aadhaar Number for attaching it with Election Photo Identity Card (EPIC) data
6. Users can get link to CEO offices websites

Disadvantages:
 Its totally run on Internet connection. Without internet user can’t run this
website.
MODIFICATION AND IMPROVEMENT OVER THE
EXISTING IMPLEMENTATION:-

Present State:
 No Software present at all.
 Time consumed in accessing the records of the voters.
 Manual creation of lists of eligible and not eligible voters.
 Students are informed by sending mail to them manually.
 Headache of placement cell is more to manage the information of voters
manually.
 More time taken to registration of voters on registration forms.

After implementation of project:


 Easy to use GUI.
 Voters can register online no rush.
 Respective eligible voter can get informed by email automatically.
 Check list of eligible voters can be made on single click.

SCOPE:-

This project has a large scope as it has the following features which help in
making it easy to use, understand and modify it:

 No Need to do Paper Work.


 To save the environment by using paper free work.
 To increase the accuracy and efficiency of voters information.
 Management of authorized users and voter’s data.
 This software package can be readily used by non-programming personal
avoiding human handled chance of error.

This project is used by two types of users-


1. Registered voter.
2. Authorized user.

The objectives of the system are-

 To reduce paperwork.
 Reduced operational time.
 Increased accuracy and reliability.
 Increased operational efficiency.
 Data security.
