▪ Amplified crude oil extraction efficiency in Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) project with special
emphasis on sustainable oil-well abandonment.
▪ Investigated the Saffman-Taylor instabilities through non-uniform rectangular Hele-Shaw Cell
hardware using Carbopol gel and air flow.
▪ Formulated experimental planning and laboratory set-up prototypes with mass flow controllers and
valves; Controlled interfacial pattern through varying gap gradients and analyzed by image processing
and automation on MATLAB.
▪ Classified finger pattern regimes using Capillary number and Bingham number or their combinations.
▪ Published collaborative research findings in ACS journal – I & EC Research 2020

▪ Simulated flow in electromagnetic pump and piping systems on Solidworks by converting 2D P&ID
drawings/blueprints to 3D parametric model to enhance efficiency of analysis.
▪ Analyzed the flow-induced vibrations on COMSOL (CAE) and compared with eigenfrequency of
the pump structure to evaluate failure mode and criteria; performed FFT for finding peak frequencies.
▪ Suggested 2 cost-effective design optimization and validation strategies for diffuser plate to reduce
noise and failure of structure at full scale operation; paper accepted at ICAME 2020.
▪ Calibrated sensors to detect O2, H2, and H2O concentration to maintain inert environment for industrial
cleaning of liquid sodium laden impellor; supervised their installation.
