How to get started: browse the Workday AI marketplace or discuss ideas
with your implementation partner. There are already use cases available,
but you can also work with a partner to bring your idea to life and on the
marketplace.

2. Leverage Extend’s AI Gateway

Prerequisites: Extend Professional

How to get started: AI Gateway delivers out of the box AI functionality
such as Document Intelligence, Skills Mining and Sentiment Analysis.
These API’s can be easily incorporated in any of your Extend apps.

3. Leverage an inhouse Large Language Model

Prerequisites: Extend Essentials or Professional and an inhouse LLM

How to get started: Setting up your inhouse LLM is probably more
straightforward than you would expect. Extend in combination with a LLM
is really powerful in terms of automation. A simple example would be an
app that before an interview happens sends all candidate materials such
as CV, assessment, cover letter, job req info to the LLM (that is inhouse,
fully secured). It can generate a summary for the hiring manager and a
list of suggested interview questions, tailored to both the job and the CV.
