Control & Evaluation System
KEY FEATURES:
IT S O L U T I O N S A T S E A A N D A S H O R E
INCIDENT-SPECIFIC
RESPONSE RESOURCES
Response resources include vehicles,
vessels, aircraft, personnel, booms,
skimmers, dispersant application
equipment, firefighting equipment,
Search and Rescue assets, etc
Resource Database holds individual
records of response resources
with their detailed characteristics
The database can be accessed from
any workstation in the system
Managing actual incidents
or conducting realistic exercises and drills
Loading a resource database for an actual incident or creating one specifically
for a training exercise
Real-world vehicles or vessels can be tracked on the chart display, alongside simulated resources
Automatic on-screen notification to the operator on simulated resource arrivals
MARITIME CASUALTY
The SARIS model and communications protocol, developed by BMT, a world's leader
in the maritime modeling technology, provides effective Search and Rescue (SAR) planning tools,
with the following capabilities:
Computing optimum search areas and displaying
the areas on electronic nautical charts
Object-dependent drift calculations based
on environmental conditions
Efficient management of SAR operations
Comprehensive resource deployment and control
Ship and crew evacuation management
Full event recording for later evaluation and analysis
SINGLE-USER OR MULTI-USER OPERATION
PISCES2 can be operated as a single-user application suitable for desktop exercises and training
corporate response managers.

If configured as a multi-user system of several workstations connected via a Local Area Network, PISCES2
can support a training class comprising an Instructor and multiple student workstations.
PISCES2 can be deployed to manage a real-world incident response: the networked configuration provides
multi-user access to the databases, charts and maps, resource control, and data input functions. Workstations
can be located in the Command Post and the servers can be accessed by remote users, including field units.
