DELTA (Dedicated Truck planning Application) :- enable connected smart ops for leased dedicated
trucks provided 11.4 M savings in Logistics cost ,4K kms empty mile reduced and 2.5KTon’s carbon
footprint reduction.
SPIN in OTM (Spot and Indent Application): A web-based platform for spot bidding and transport
tendering for operations and carriers.
Dynamic clustering for India Secondary outbound network yielded 11% cost savings in the overall
Freight cost spent in OTM.
EPOD Application for Proof of Delivery: 350k+ € Projected Savings through paperless POD ways of
working.

Innovative and Self initiatives during my tenure at Unilever

Locus implementation for Last Mile Route optimization : This new application has not only
helped Unilever to optimize the routes but as well cost savings in terms of reducing the number of
Trucks and improving the customer satisfaction. Overall, we got 7% cost savings and improved the
customer on time delivery.
Planning Simulator: Live Simulator built for the end users to forecast the trucks based on the
historical data available in OTM.
In house CHAT BOT: A simple interactive BOT for the end users to manage the operations using
OTM.
Cost Maker Checker: A solution for three-way cost match(OTM,SAP,JAGGAER). Making sure the
right payment is made to vendor.

Project: -Tower Bright (an 4PL Company)

Overview: Tower Bright is being projected as a 4PL provider hence to act as a single
platform for all business units leveraging services of Tower Bright’s OTM for
shipment loads. Hence Tower Bright as a parent entity will need access to all the
business transactions viz. Orders, shipments, bills/Invoices, freight rates etc. Various
OTM Modules are implemented as below->
 Implemented Tertiary Distribution, Sourcing, Brokerage & Forwarding Projects.
 Conducted Business Requirement sessions with all the required business
users.
 Configuration of Packaging and Ship Units, TiHi, Order Configuration,
Reference Qualifiers etc.
 Making Inbound/Outbound interfaces ready for Order Release, Planned
Shipments, Invoice and Voucher.
 Creation of Automation Agents to automate the workflow.
 Co-ordination with offshore technical team for development of custom

Overview: This customer has used TMS functionality to the core. Modules mainly
focused on this project were Sourcing, GTM, Order Management, Brokerage and
forwarding, Shipment Management, Contract and Rate Management, Business
Process Automation and Configuration & Administration.
 Understanding the AS-IS processes and activities of the client's business.
 Gathered the business requirement with the client.
 Conducted a fit-gap analysis of the business requirement with the application
and presented various Proofs – of - Concept (POC) to the client.
 Prepared Business requirement specification based on the client's AS-IS

basic functionalities. Being SCG an international logistics provider which has got
maximum business over Ocean, we had to customize to an extreme extent to fit the
requirements. OTM sourcing is used by very few clients in the industry.

Project: - Unilever AAR and Fusion

Overview: This customer has used OTM functionality to the core. Modules mainly
focused on this project were Order Management, Shipment Management, Contract
and Rate Management, Business Process Automation and Configuration &
Administration.
 Taking new requirements from Business, analysing, confirming on the
feasibility of the Requirement, and moving the changes to Prod Instance once
configured and signed off by the Users.
  Offering effective Solutions for Business to reduce complexity by minimizing

business flow (Eg:- Automation of order assigning from depot , calculating
empty distance , backhauling, Automation of Shipping Cost, Delivery Block)
