Course Outline The Power to Reinvent Yourself
Life is short and the course is to help participants to be conscious of it and make
SUMMARY
the most of it, by grasping all opportunities. By taking care of themselves, the
participants shall be able at the end of the course to shape their destiny and take
important decisions to make a positive change in their lives.
The objective of the course is to shape your destiny and help you design your

beyond their limits to a world of unlimited power and achievement.

the participants but depending on number of participants and size of room

Slide “The Power to reinvent yourself” – 1 minute

Put a dynamic music to welcome participants


Welcome all participants and thank them for their attendance.

Set ground rules of the training:

All mobile phones on silent mode, no smoking, open minded, active


participation

The trainer has to brief the objectives of the course before starting.
The objective of the course is to shape your destiny and help you design your
personal, professional and JCI career.

The course brings the participant to go beyond their limits to a world of


unlimited power and achievement.

Slide “Presentation” - Ice Breaker – 10 minutes

Introduction to by giving name, profession and one of each greatest


achievement

Each participant introduces himself in 15 seconds

Ask the participants what they have learned from the presentation.

Slide “Rediscovering yourself” – 1 minute

After the introduction above, tell the participants that each and every one of
them is UNIQUE in the world.

Slide “Success” 1 minute

Ask the participants to give some ideas of what they think can make a person
successful. Brainstorm and Write the answers on the flip chart.

Let’s us play a game. If you take letters A to Z and each letter correspond to a
number from 1 to 26.

Then click on LUCK, tell the participants that even if some people play their
lives on LUCK by gambling for example, this will not necessarily make them
100% successful. It reflects only 47%.

Slide “ Success” – 1 minute

Then click on LOVE, total 54%, tell the participants that even if some people
place LOVE in an important place, this will not necessarily make them 100%
successful.

Then click on MONEY, total is 72%, tell the participants that even if some
people place MONEY in an important place in their life, this will not necessarily
make them 100% successful.

Slide “Success” – 1 minute

Then click on LEADERSHIP, total is 97%, put emphasis on the fact that some
people can have exemplary LEADERSHIP skills but this still does not make
them 100% successful.

Then click on HARDWORK, total is 98%, explain that even if people works
hard, this will not necessarily make them 100% successful.

Before showing the next slide, put emphasis that we have seen that luck, love,
money, leadership and even hardwork are not enough to make someone 100%
successful. Ask the participants what they think can make them 100%
successful.

Slide “Success” – 1 minute

Show the slide and let the participants read it. ATTITUDE - Then, explain to
them that it is important for someone to have the right attitude, always be
positive and that to be 100% successful, everyone shall need to change their
attitude to be able to create their own path to success.

Attitude is the key to success.

Slide “How to achieve success” – 1 minute

Time is needed to achieve success especially if we have a family, a profession


and is active in any other organization.

What percentage of time is spent in urgent but not important things?

More than 50% of your time is spent on urgent but not important issues

You can give example that you are a busy person but actually your mobile is
on silent mode as your urgent call is not as important as this training that you
are conducting.

One needs to know his/her priority.

Slide “Time Management” – 3 minutes

Go briefly on the slide.

Important & Urgent – Necessity


Important & Not Urgent – Balance Productivity
Not Important & Urgent – Deception
Not Important & Not Urgent – Waste and Excess

Give examples listed in each quadrant

Explain to the participants how it is important to live above the line

Slide “Vision to Achievement” – 1 minute

Explain to the participants that they do not have to consult a fortune teller to
predict their future but they have to create their own vision.

What their minds can conceive, they can achieve.

They shall create their own vision and believe in themselves to make it happen.

Slide “Believe in Your Vision” – 3 minutes

Ask the participants to think about how many of them are working but do not
like what they are doing? How many are working without passion?

Show the slide.

Explain to the participants that if they have a vision but do not believe in it, it
will never be achieved.

Use the acronym GREAT. Ask them to


Give their best always
Release their fears
Enjoy life
Act with passion
Transcend and make a difference.

They must believe in themselves, in their capacities before being able to put
into action.

Slide “Top Achievers” – 1 minute

While showing the slide, ask the participants if they want to be a slow or top
achiever:

A Snail covers 400 meters in 37 hours

Or

A Formulae 1 car covers 400 meters in 9 seconds

Slide “Your entrepreneurial vision” – 3 minutes

Ask the participants to think about what are the resources needed to achieve
their entrepreneurial vision?

Put their answers on the flip chart.

Show the slide. Use the example of a lever. You need to put resources on
one side to Achieve your Vision:-

- Contacts and relationships


- Talents
- Emotions
- Money
- Belief in yourself and your vision

Slide “Think differently” – 30 seconds

Show and read the slide. Explain that too often we only think when confronted
to a problem.

Let us see now if the participant can think differently and think out of the box.

Slide “Think differently – Group Exercise” – 30 seconds

Make small groups and ask them to find the answers. This will allow them to
think in teams

Put all on a flip chart to gain time:

Write VII and ask them to add one single line and turn it into 8

Ask them to raise hand if their group has the answer and write the answers on
a flip chart. Show them the answer.

Congratulate the winners.

Slide “Think differently” – Group Exercise – 2 minutes

Write IX and ask them to add one single line and turn it into 6

Tell them that there are 3 different answers for them to find out.

Ask them to raise hand if their group has the answer and write the answers on
a flip chart. Show them the answer.

Congratulate the winners.

Slide “Think differently” – 1 minute

Tell the participants that we will continue to play some quiz questions.

Show the questions and ask each group to raise hand and give the answer.
Show the answers.

Congratulate the winners.

Tell the participants that we will continue to play some quiz questions.

Show the questions and ask each group to raise hand and give the answer.
Show the answers.

Congratulate the winners.

Slide “Group Work” – 10 minutes

Ask the participants if they like painting.

Make groups and give to each group a plate, a paint brush and one different
colour each and ask them to make purple color.

Give all groups red color except two groups blue color.

The answer is not in one group but in everything and sharing their colors with
another different color group.

Slide “Red and Blue people story” – 2 minutes

After this group work, put a soft music in background and tell a story:

“Once upon a time, in a village, there were 100 red people who met 1 blue
people. In another village, there were 1000 red people and 2 blue people who
met for the 1st time.

Read Extraordinary BLUE people meeting ordinary RED people.

Show the slide during the story

Slide “Ordinary people into extraordinary people” – 2 minutes

What will a town of RED people turn into, when a group of extraordinary BLUE
people meet them?

All the red people are turned into purple.

Read with passion the following:

Extraordinary people turning ordinary people into extraordinary people.


Believe that you are those extraordinary BLUE people and make positive
changes around you in your town.

Slide “The Power of Belief” – 1 minute

Do you believe that You are like a Cat or like a Panther?

It is all here in your mind and heart.

People act according to their beliefs and attitudes.

Slide “Positive Thinking” – Group Work – 5 minutes

Flip chart can be prepared in advance (each good word, 1 page) to gain time.

Find great words which can replace good words on the slide.

Slide “Positive Thinking” – 2 minutes

Show the results after all teams have submitted their findings.

Show the examples one by one quickly.

At the end of the slide, make them feel Energized by asking:

How do you feel?

Slide “Make a wish” – 1 minute

Read the slide.

Remember when you are a kid, every dream was possible.

While you grow, we tend not to dream enough.

Ask the participants to just think about it.

Quote: “The best way to predict the future is to Design it”.

Your destiny is in your hands.

Slide “Achieve your vision” – 1 minute

Show examples of great achievers like Bill Gates, Arnold Schwarzenegger,


Ellen Mac Arthur and Michael Schumacher.

Ask:

Do you want to be great achievers like them?

Design your own future?

Slide “What is my fire within” – 1 minute

Play a soft music in background.

Read the powerful lines of the slide (slowly).

Empower the participants to live their dreams.

Slide “What is your vision” - 15 minutes

Put a soft meditation music in background.

Distribute form (attached in participants manuals)

Show the slide and ask the participants to close their eyes for a few minutes
and try to create their vision. Read the slide while they meditate.

Ask the attention of all participants. Be firm in putting emphasis on the fact that
the lines they are going to write are the most important lines of their lives.

Ask one to three (maximum) volunteers to share his or her vision.

Slide “The power within” – 1 minute

Tell the participants to always climb to the top to achieve their personal
success like that man climbing to the top of this coconut tree.

Ask the participants to make a circle for you to do an evaluation.

Slide “The power to reinvent yourself” – 13 minutes

Ask the participants “how are you feeling?

Summarize one by one on what they have learned and what they will use in
the future (15 secs maximum per participant).

Ask them to go back to their seats.

Distribute participants’ manuals by explaining page per page what you are
giving.

Distribute evaluation form for the training and evaluation form for the trainer.
Give time for evaluation and collect them.

Slide “Thank You” – 2 minutes

Tell the participants to remember the “extraordinary blue people that they are”

Take a ball and bounce it by telling the participants that YOU ARE LIKE THIS
BALL, ALL YOUR POWER IS WITHIN YOUR MIND AND HEART. When YOU
PUT ACTION TO YOUR VISION, IT REBOUNCES AND REACTS
EXTRAORDINARILY.

Thank the participants for their active participation and the organizing team of
the training. Wish the participants outstanding success!
