Two of the biggest, most famous cities Viet Nam are Ho Chi Minh and Ha Noi.

They all contribute significantly to the country's economy. Despite the fact that
they have things in common, they differ in style and dialect.
One thing in common between the city and Hanoi is the high cost of living.
Because these are all large cities, living in these cities definitely requires more
money than living in the countryside. It can be more expensive to rent an
apartment in these cities than it is to rent an entire house in a suburb away from
the city. Another way these two cities are similar is that they both have traffic
jams. People are coming to these two major cities as a result of their outstanding
development, which provides several chances. This leads to a sudden increase in
traffic, particularly during peak hours, while the road infrastructure has not been
able to adapt in time.
Nevertheless, the two cities' styles are distinct. If Ho Chi Minh City is regarded
new and vibrant, Hanoi is more antique in beauty. Houses with red tile roof are
common in Hanoi, while they are more Western-style in HCM. Walking around
Hoan Kiem Lake in the evening to view the beauty and enjoy a little cool breeze
from nature is a nice choice for Hanoi residents, but individuals in Ho Chi Minh
City choose to visit more busling places such as pubs, bars,... Due to the
geographical and regional nature, dialects are also very different from each other.
The voice of the Ho Chi Minh people is considered the standard voice of the
South, while the Ha Noi voice is considered the standard voice of the North.
People in Saigon in particular have a habit of using the word "dạ" when talking,
unlike people in Ha Noi who use the word "vâng".
In short, despite the differences in styles and dialects, Ho Chi Minh and Ha Noi are
two cities that are very similar to each other. This mix has given both cities their
distinct traits. Despite the fact that I have never visited Hanoi, I feel its warmth
and classicism. If you want to learn about Vietnamese culture and people, visit Ho
Chi Minh and Ha Noi.
