Introduction
Over six days, I logged my activities every 15 minutes using an Excel
spreadsheet. This exercise aimed to analyze my time management and uncover any
patterns or areas where I might improve efficiency. Below are my observations and
insights gained from this time log exercise.

Time Allocation
Work-related Activities:
 Part-time Work: I spend approximately 3-4 hours each day on part-time work,
totalling about 18-20 hours over six days. This fits within the 20-hour limit and
indicates a balanced allocation between work and study.
Academic Activities:
 Classes and Study: A significant portion of my day is dedicated to attending
classes and studying. Each class day includes dedicated study time for that
subject. This ensures a focused approach to each course and highlights a heavy
academic load.
Personal Tasks:
 Morning Routine: Each day starts with a consistent morning routine, including
breakfast preparation, eating, and cleaning up.
 Rest and Sleep: I allocate around 1-2 hours each day for rest and Sleep in the
afternoon, providing a break and recharging time.
Commute:
 Commute to Work and College: I spend considerable time commuting, which
averages to about 1-2 hours each day. This time is necessary but can be
optimized if possible.

Patterns and Productivity


Structured Schedule:
 My schedule is highly structured with clear blocks of time dedicated to specific
activities. This structure helps maintain a balance between work, study, and
personal tasks.
Academic Focus:
 There is a strong focus on academic activities, and study time is dedicated to
each subject. This ensures that each course receives the necessary attention
but can also lead to potential burnout if not managed properly.
Breaks and Downtime:
 Regular breaks and rest periods are integrated into the schedule. This helps
maintain productivity and prevent fatigue.
Learning Outcomes
Efficient Time Management:
 This exercise has highlighted the importance of efficient time management. By
logging my activities, I can see where my time is spent and identify areas for
improvement.
Areas for Improvement:
 Commute Time: Reducing commute time could free up additional time for other
activities.
 Study Methods: Exploring more efficient study methods or integrating group
study sessions could enhance learning outcomes and reduce individual study
time.
