Lesson Plan
Unit Title: Introduction to Robotics
Lesson 4: Types of Robots

Suggested Time Allotment: 1 hr.


Suggested Number of Session: 1

I. OBJECTIVES

This module will discuss the different types of robots and its uses.

Specific Objectives: At the end of the lesson, the pupils are expected to:

1. identify the different types of robots; and,


2. classify the different kinds of robots according to its uses.
NGSS Standards: The learners will acquire the following standards:

✔ Evaluating Information
Ask questions, make observations, and gather information about a situation people want to
change to define a simple problem that can be solved through the development of a new or
improved object or tool.
✔ Data Analyzing
Analyze data from tests of two objects designed to solve the same problem to compare the
strengths and weaknesses of how each performs.

ISTE Standards: The learners will acquire the following standards:

✔ Empowered Learner
Students leverage technology to take an active role in choosing, achieving, and demonstrating
competency in their learning goals, informed by the learning sciences.
✔ Digital Citizen
Students recognize the rights, responsibilities and opportunities of living, learning and

legal and ethical.
