PURPOSE OF THE DOCUMENT

The purpose of this document is to provide the information necessary to change the instance type of the server, you
can change the size of the instance simply by changing its instance type, which is known as resizing it. If the root device
for your instance is an instance store volume, you must migrate your application to a new instance with the instance
type that you need.

EXECUTION STEPS
 Login to your AWS console. Here you can find various accounts.

 Select the account to which the server belongs (DEV/PROD/PRE-PROD).

 And select the management console.

 After getting into the AWS management console, choose “EC2” from the services list.

 You can also select the services option to check the overall services in it. From that choose the IAM
(Identity Access management) option under the console tab. This EC2 consist number of running instance.

 Create Roles from the IAM service to provide access to services.

 Select the Service that required to connect other service. For example select “Ec2” as caller.

 Next, Choose the policy to grant the permissions.

 For example, Select the “S3” policy for the role.

 Create the Role now and you can view the policies attached the role here.

 Review the Role ARN and permissions and Trust Relationships of the Role.

 In other Case you can Create you own Policy for the requirement. Now, Click at Create Policy.

 Go to JSON Editor and Write the policy that you want apply for the Role, User and Groups.

 Once you Created the policy review it and attach the same wherever you required.
